| Its always good to take them to the vet if you see blood in their poop to rule out worms and other things but it also can be just a bowel irritation

| Izzy had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. I took him to the vet and he ended up eating something off the floor which upset his stomach. He had what was similar to food poisoning in humans. His bowels were runny though. Are his runny or solid? Good luck with the vet, hope he feels better!

| UPDATE on BAILEY!! GOOD NEWS!!! I took Bailey to the vet this morning and the Dr. did a poop sample and the Dr. said that his poops looks REALLY GOOD every layer of it (LOL) he said that somtimes being that Bailey is a puppy they may find things on the floor and eat it and that it may be hard to come out which may have cause a little spec of blood but it was totally nothing to be worried about. He also said that it could be the food that I am on (which is Chicken Soup) he said that he is still doing some research on it but there are still tests out there going on for Chicken Soup......he did mention Nutro though and he said its an EXCELLENT food (which I already knew because so many other YTers have there pups on it and I had did some reasearch on it too ) and to think I just went and bought a bag of Chicken Soup ...I mean he didn't say it was bad he just said he didn't know for sure so I will continue to feed Bailey the Chicken soup and mix it in with the Nutro down the line.....This morning I mixed the CS with some can food (California Natural) and got great poop out of Bailey TMI?? I guess I was a little worried for nothing but hey its better safe than sorry!! I'm so glad Bailey is OK!!!
