I neither show or breed my pet. But I have begun to limit my post due to the remarks and "tone" I have received lately. Well said post, I agree. |

thank you for the job you do, you do it very well |
I agree, well said! |
I too quit responding because of negative remarks some time back. I read and learn and I love this forum so much. We all make mistakes and from our mistakes we learn. Thank you for the reminder. Mollymae and Abbi's Mom |

 What a great post!! |
I totally agree! Thanks for trying to remind this to all members. I haven't been here for that long, but I know how much I knew when I joined and how much I know now thanks to all the information I was able to gather here. I see how some new members are attacked sometimes and I feel really bad. I know about the forbidden words and topic, and it gets repetitive sometimes to inform the new members, but I would say, if you are not patient enough to share your knowledge with love, just don't post a reply. The funny thing is that the members that have been here the longest are the ones that have more pacience, and the once that have been around for not that long are the "attackers". When you read something that goes against our thoughts: take a biggg breath, think, and think once again, and then type! |
i think sometimes things can be taken in the wrong way as we cant hear a tone of voice, we just read words and take it the way we THINK it was written and sometimes its wrong. i also think sometimes different countrys have different views due to what WE think is normal or not and should remember just cos are country doesnt allow this or that dont attack another cos they do, ie tail docking is always a heated topic, in the uk we dont do it anymore so when we see a post about it it can get are backs up as its now the norm not to do it but we should remember that we use to do it and we didnt bat an eye to it when it was the norm then, ive learnt this on here. when ive had a heated debate on things and i think the person may of taken what ive said the wrong way ive sent the person a pm and explained how i ment it and cleared things up with them:) things at times will always get a bit heated on here as we all protect are babies, you just try telling a mum that her child has got big ears and see what happens lol:D |
Thank you. I think it's been time for a reminder for quite a while now. Well said. |
This has happened to me. When i asked a question on the breeder forum because i didnt no the height of my dog ud have thought that id smacked someone on the face. The reply that i got was sarcastic and rude. I showed to my husband in he was a bit shocked. I have 2 girls and love them deeply, and i dont think that i should have to no every in and out of the breed to own them. My 2 girls were both bought of people who no longer wanted them Missy was 2 and boots was 16weeks ive giving them a very good home and if i ask a simple question i dont think that i should be blasted for it. Now thats that out of me system lol. :) P.s Ilove the forum and most people are lovly and very helpful |

One question I posted earlier on got a bit of a harsh response from someone and so I looked at some of the other posts that person did and I realized it wasn't my problem. It didn't stop me from continuing to post because the majority of everyone here is wonderful. Brissy is my first dog but I am no dummy and have read many books, literature ect on these babies. I have asked many questions from others more experienced than me. I feel I have, at times, something valid to contribute to the group. I also have many questions that all of you have helped me with. One thing I do know is just like having human babies lots of people have strong opinions about what is best for them and some people are not open to anything that is not in their personal manual. That's just some people's nature. All of our babies are wonderful and special and so are we because we love them so very much and want the best life for them and with them. This forum is just another extention of our devotion to them. :hearts-en :hearts-en :hearts-en :hearts-en |
