I dont know the exact circumstances of your situation, do you have any proof of payment and the the phone number and address of the seller? I suggest you see a puppy in person and only hand money over for exchange of a pup. I would be way to afraid to buy sight unseen. Have you contacted this person and if so what are they saying??? We need more details... Dawn |
How can you say you are looking for a teacup pup in one thread at 8:58pm and then on this thread say you found one in houston and paid for it, but never got the pup..????????????? Sounds very fishy to me!!! |
Maybe she was scammed and is now looking for another pup?? Just didnt post in the right order lol...Id find someone local...go visit some local breeders and see whats available or what might be available in the near future? Dawn |
no the sacm happend a few days ago, and im dealing with it through the police. but im still looking for a small yorkie because i never got one yet and still really want one |

After the education I have gotten since wanting a yorkie (mostly from yorkietalk) I would never deal with anyone using the term "teacup". I also would look locally for a pup. I cannot imagine taking a baby from its mother, father and littermates then sticking it in a crate and putting it in the cargo hold of an airplane. You also want to visit the dog before you get it. How were they raised and socialized. Do the human grandparents spend alot of time with them. What do their parents look like. With so many yourkies out there now finding a good local breeder should be a cinch. |
If indeed this is legit..... can you give more info on the "breeder"? I'm near Houston and wonder if it's anyone I may have talked to when looking for a yorkie. |
I am sorry you were scammed. You are not the first person on here to be scammed. You have to be very careful because there are so many puppy scam ads out there. Good luck finding your puppy |
I don't see a problem with getting a puppy shipped. I think almost everyone would choose to pick up a puppy in person if they could, but it doesn't always work out that way. I had my Remy shipped to me from New Mexico - he is absolutely fine and thriving. Just wanted to point this out to the OP - if shipping a puppy is the only realistic option, then go for it, but do check out references first. Also, it's always a good idea to check if the breeder is not on the AKC susspended list (there's a sticky somewhere with that information). And finally, word of mouth is a powerful tool - always ask around first before sending your money. Good luck with getting your money back. |

I'm sorry you got scammed. People are just so lazy anymore and don't want to work for their money - instead they take hard earned money from innocent people like you :( But really, in your search of a puppy I would stay away from breeders that advertise "teacup." It's just a marketing word that mainly "unethical" (using this lightly) breeders use. Good luck getting your money back and finding another pup! |

well I was on another type of fourms, not for dogs but for a my type of car, posted what happend on there and i was refered to this website. thats when i just recently found ut there is no such thing as a "teacup" the ladys name was tiffany rose small, her email is tifanyrose01@yahoo.com. we talked for days and she said she couldnt care for her baby because she was ill and she didnt want her the suffer. after talking for days she seemd nice and ligit so i went ahead with it, now only to find out it was not, but i talked to the police and they told me it was grand theif fraud and i had a pretty good chance at winning. the officer that was assigned to me has dealt with a case like mine and has won, so thats good news. i also know she is doing it to many people, i posted her email on the other fourm and people emailed her aotu her ad and she responded to 4 people with the same thing she said to me almost. but please dont email her about her ad or anything because i want this to come as a shock to her when the police knock on her door with the sueing papers. but im glad i found this website because now i know there is no such thing as a "teacup" but im still looking for a smaller one somewhere near the san diego area or drivable distance. |

Puppyluver07.... Have you got an address? I'd be curious to see where it's located. There are some good breeders in this area, but (just like everywhere else) there are some scammers out there! Do you have Tiffany's last name? I would at least like to warn others..... Or maybe even drive by there and scope it out.... |
it 21214 scenic bluff ln houston tx, 77338...her name is tifany and her husband is sabum gildas.. where are the good breeders? does anyone know anyone whos honest and trustworthy? |
I don't recognize that name but that's just because she isn't anyone I dealt with when getting Tatum. Sounds like she probably doesn't even have a dog... just trying to scam people. So sorry this has happened to you. I hope it gets settled soon. |
No such thing as a tea cup in my opinion and you should have visited the puppy berfore buying, and not out of a newspaper. |

There are always good breeders in any area. The problem is... finding them. I breed in the Houston area and have sold and 'hand' delivered pups to PA, TN, GA, LA and other places, as well as, TX. One thing I do is stay in touch at least every other day and send lots and lots of pics. And the buyers stay in touch even after the sale, with new pics of the babies as they grow. But your best bet is to find a good breeder in your area. Being able to meet the breeder, the puppy's parents and the pup itself makes a big difference. Word of mouth is best and you should be able to get some references from YT. Just keep looking..... And keep us posted! |
I'm sorry you have been scammed, but I am constantly telling people NEVER EVER buy a dog sight unseen!! EVER!!. I hope she lands in jail, but as far as getting your money back..........well I seriously doubt you will. |
