LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | How far would you go to protect your baby yorkie? I have been out today and one bigger dog almost bit my Pheoebe. She's only 3 pounds so compared to that dog, very tiny. I was just wondering if this happened to any of you, and what have you done. I was really scared that my baby will get hurt, if not killed. Please see attached her pic.

| Until it actually happens (heaven forbid) I would do just about anything to protect my babies.

| When jazz (my bichon) was just a baby we were at the vets office & there was a mom and her 2 boys and their hamster. well her 2 boys (ages like 4-6) where running around and terrorizing all the dogs! They went up to a golden and starting running around it and really scaring him! the owner walked away so they went after a cocker spaniel, and then a cat.. well naturally the entire vets office was a lil mad and evrey1 was looking at the mom like "HELLOO!!! CONTROL UR KIDS" but she was on her cellphone completly oblivious to what was going on. well the 2 boys came charging at my puppy who was on my lap.. they where yelling something about a lil white rat, and ran up about to pick him up, so i got up, picked up my dog out of their reach. and told the lady that she better control her kids or I WILL! wlell.. i over reacted a little but jazz was just a tiny baby and was very very sick (we later found out he had distemper ) and definetly could not handle being tossed around by 2 little kids. Well the lady got off her cell for 2 seconds and said "hey u 2, go play outside" & the kids went to run around outside and that was the last i saw of them, but the entire clinic looked relieved. |

| I took all 3 for a walk the other night. I got to the end of the road & thought, What would I do if a big dog came charging? I would do what it takes. I now walk them when hubby is home from work. Having 2 of us to protect 3 little ones is better.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | I was taking Teddy for a walk today and he's 8 lbs. There was a pitbull that came the other direction. Even though he seemed like a nice dog and Teddy was jumping up towards him to say hi I didn't let him get near him because you just never know with those big dogs what they will do. |

| Across the street from our condos, is an apt community that allows big dogs, and it seems every tenant has at least 2 pitbulls or rotties. I am always scared when taking them for a walk. My friend will say i am silly if they see me picking up my babies if they are approaching us, but u just never know. And Dior and Diesel my 3 month old maltese are so fearless they think its a play date coming towards us. |

| I'd probably protect my furbaby like I did my real babies. I'm a mother tigress when it comes to my babies. I'll step in and put myself between them, and I'll throw punches if necessary. I don't do this consciously. It just happens when my babies are threatened. It's pure instinct. |

| Hi, I never let big dogs that I don't know around my babies. However, sometimes things happen when you least expect and I'd get chewed up protecting mine. I look at them like they are my children and I would protect them in the same way.

| He died a couple of years ago we were prepared for it since we got him from a puppy mill bust.. but it still hurt us deeply. He was a sweetheart all through his short life, but he never really got to be a real puppy, he was always in pain & tired. |

| I already have done whatever it takes to save my boy Boog...and I'd do it again in a heartbeat! I believe in acting now and thinking later because sometimes if you think too long it's too late or you might talk yourself out of acting. |
