I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Has your Yorkie ever gotten the hiccups? LOL Last night, right before I was getting ready to go to bed, Stedman was OF COURSE right at my feet while I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth, and all of a sudden I heard these little sounds coming from him - LOL. He was hiccuping! This was the first time I have ever seen him do this - poor little guy, it almost knocked him over LOL he was losing his balance because I guess the hiccups were just too big for his little self! It was so cute My hubby heard the little "chirps" he was making from the bathroom and was like, "What the heck is he doing!", I was like "He's hiccuping!" LOL it was so darn cute!!! Have your Yorkie(s) ever gotten the hiccups before??? LOL

| Muffin gets the hiccups from time to time as well & the look on her face when it happens is priceless! She looks like she's being attacked by the invisible man. The first time it happened, she was sitting on my lap. I sat her up facing me & started massaging her back & talking to her quietly & they disappeared quickly. Now whenever she gets them, she comes & finds me & we do the same routine. I don't know if it just calms her enough to get rid of them or what...but she knows what to do when it happens! My husband has tried to do it with her, but hasn't been successful. Tee hee! CJ

| Alphy get them, but now that you mention it, it's been awhile. I usually just rub his throat or something to distract him and they go away.

| Tatum's only had them twice that I've noticed but the first time it scared the heck out of me because I thought she was choking or gasping for breath. Patting her like a baby helps them go away. I agree it's pretty cute though! And yes, Toto's mom.... the burps are pretty funny too. Tatum likes to get close to me (behind my head at the top of the couch) and let those out. Then she kisses and kisses me.... kinda like "thanks for that wonderful meal"!

| Gypsy gets them if she's woken up. If she wakes up on her on then she doesn't... weird! She hates them though and if she's still tired then she paws her nose... yeah, cuz like that'll help! I rub her back when she gets them really bad and it seems to help.
