I am glad you have been able to go on with your life after something so horrible. I have never been raped but once when I was in the city leaving a ballgame with my boyfriend, we were alone on a dark street walking to our car and a group of 3 gang-type guys approached us. I could see by their faces that they were going to do something to us. I was really scared. When they got up to us one of them grabbed my arm and pulled me away from my boyfriend. He let me go and they walked off laughing. When I went home I scrubbed my arm and scrubbed it with a brush until it was bleeding. I felt so violated. I was sick. I can't even imagine how horrible a rape would be.

Its crazy to me that I could be rapped three times and so many people will never have to go through it one.....I am VERY happpy they won't have to go through that, just makes no sense I had to deal with it 3 times. I knew the people 2 times....the last time I didn't know them. Anyway, the guyswho grabbed you....that's CRAZY!! Thank GOD they walked away, that usually dosen't happen. LOL My husband will not let me carry a gun ( I am certified in pistols,riffles, and shotguns ) but, he says I will shoot anyone who scares me and he is probably right!

I wouldn't be going for any walks until they catch the guy. I remember reading in 1978, Ted Bundy did the same thing in Gainesville. Only his rapes escalated to murder, he got the chair in Florida. Be very careful just going out in the mornings & night. Pepper spay is a good idea to carry, I carry it on my key chain. Always be aware of your surroundings.

God angie....i am sooo sorry you have been through so much!!!! you are such am amazing and strong person to be able to go through that. thank you for putting things into persepctive!!!

update: i eventually took her outside bc she wouldnt go, and then she had to go again about five minutes ago and she peed on the carpet, but oh well i just took the pee pee pad and put her pee on it so maybe she will smell it. she wouldnt poop, but she went right away outside......i guess i just have to retrain her. i just dont want her to forget to go outside too........does anyone who has thier dogs trained both ways have any suggestions for me.....

Thanks Joy, I have had a great life so far.....I have a wonderful family.
I think she will start using the pee pads if you just leave them down. I have one yorkie who I hand raised from a puppy so I trained her to the pee pads while I was doing all the other work...My other yorkies are not pad trained, but they do go over on the pad a lot. Try to have a treat around to give her when she does and praise her a lot. She has to get use to the idea of going inside when you taught her to go outside. Good Luck!!
