I just want to add in defence to YT we are a loving community here and we are like family it hurts us to hear these stories and no you are not the only place that we have heard stories like this from. We as buyers need to be aware of the breeding industry and when you have enough people say they got a sick puppy or it dies then we are concerned for one another. We have this site to learn about the breed and do's and don'ts with the industry. I am sorry if you feel wronged here but honestly how can you blame people for being so passionate about this. We are all animal lovers here and truely care for this breed and when we hear sad stories such as this it hurts very deep. It's like if you went to buy a car and got the biggest piece of crap from them and you had 10 other people that had the same problem but you had 40 others who had a great experiance those 10 need to be recognized for the wrong doing and yes if you were one of those 10 you'd be outraged! We are really a loving place here |

I notice you attributed a comment to V that was really made by Woofshepard, and it caused some confusion earlier in this thread. You're right, I really should have learned from your example to get my facts straight before opening my PIE HOLE! :D In that case, I'm off to investigate the fact that, if I remember correctly, you and the Brushy Creek guy both made statements that "puppies get sick, just like children do". Or wait...I think that was sparkles-a-plenty, or whatever his name is. With so many posters with different names around here repeating each other and using the same phrases, it's getting confusing. :D |
I found this while doing a search on the kennel.. Wonder if this person has a sick puppy too http://www.topix.net/forum/city/hock...9QBKK01RCU4Q9J |
I know I refered to children. the only reason I said it like that, is because that is how my vet explained to me. When I first purchased one of my boxers, it caught parvo. He survived it, thank God! i thought it had been from the breeder, the vet explained to me, it was not the breeder. Parvo can be carried from other dogs, ppl petting dogs, then petting mine. I did not know at that time how you were suppose to treat then like a new born baby. So my vet explained to me that they were like kids. That is why i said it like that. i do not know who else said it like that. I can only tell you things that have happened to me, and why I explain it the way i do. the sad thing is, my dog had its vaccinations, he just needed the parvo booster. I did not know that. I also did not know I should not have been taking him every where to show him off, untill he was older. My vet explained alot to me, about puppies that I did not know. |
