Well, dat wittle puppy scale dey weigh me on sez "2.5 lbs". I think that means I weally big...I jes know I am!
Mommy sez I'm too tiny, but she wubs me tons and tons and it's ok wif her.
So, I fink I'm a TEAPOT, wike I sez. :winky: BUT, if you fink I'm not, I could be a weally cute cheerleader in case yer cwub needs me, Zoe. :lv32:

NEVER in the 400 years of the Teapot Club and Secret Society has such a bold and brazen attempt to infiltrate our ranks been launched -- RIGHT HERE IN OUR HALLOWED HALLWAYS! :eek:

Our Counter Teacup Unit (CTU, :cool:) believes this is either the act of a multilingual, baby-talking secret agent of the highest regard or the antics of a precocious pup who truly wants to be a Teapot.

There are those in our ranks who think her punishment should be swift and merciless. However, it is my recommendation that such a harsh punishment would merely lower us to the level of the teacups and ordinary size Yorkies, who for years have denied Teapots the right to appear in their exclusive dog shows simply because we're over their magical 7-pound limit.

Nevertheless, punishment is mandated under our bylaws.

To wit:

Infiltrator Zoe has been condemned to serve as cheerleader for the Teapot Club, with honorary member status, until such a time that she either reaches the 7.1 pound minimum limit for full-fledged Teapot status or she proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that she's as adorable as she comes off in her application.

And a mighty cute cheerleader she shall be!! Just what this here teapot club needs!

Ok took Charlie to the vet as he is having a pancreatitis flare. he has not been feeling good the past couple days so I took him this morning and like I feared pancreatitis. BUT..............................

They put Charlie up on the scale and it said 13 pounds THIRTEEN!! :eek:
i was AMAZED.

They said that it is a fine weight for him to be but they do not want him to gain anymore because of his body structure.

He had to get some meds and we have to change the diet some but he should be good in a few days.

Just had to share my BIG excitement LOL

After reading this thread, I think my corky belongs in the Teapot club. he weighs 9 lbs

Elvis decided he wanted to be considered a teacup and not a teapot anymore...(he's all smitten with Zoe now) I told him he had to follow the teacup criteria in order to apply to the teacup club...

1. Either he put on a cheer leader costume and say GO TEACUPS or
(he knows mom being an former NCA member would have made him go all out).

2. He get into a teacup for a photo shoot...he chose the later...I'm sure you can tell by his face in the pic. he has changed his mind...;)

I actually just found this at the grocery store yesterday so it all worked out...poor Elvie-roo kept jumping out and I kept putting him back in...he ended up just going all dead weight on me and giving me sad eyes after photo # 4 on fast shoot so ye this is the best we could do-and he will never again have to suffer in such a way...ye that and he ran away under the chair and refused to come out until I put the camera away...:eek:

I knew you were going to be trouble sooner or later! :rolleyes: I have referred Elvis' request to our legal team in the motherland of Yorkshire, England, and will get back to you when they have ruled. Don't be antsy, though, the last time they ruled was in 2003 on a request that came in 1847. I'll try to hurry them up.

Oh I had to give him treats and special attention after putting him in a cup...his ears definitely said it all and he was not amused in the slightest...pretty sure some Zuke's Mini Naturals in Salmon made it all better though...well and the plant went back in the "teacup" planter so ye, when I put the camera away and plant in planter and had treats he came out from under the chair ate and rolled over for belly rubs :D

Please consider my application to the Teapot Club & Secret Society. I weighed in yesterday at 8 pounds and am 8 months old. Mom said I'm healthy and sturdy but all I know is running & jumping are so much fun!

So Tay (My human daughter who is 12 and Corky's mommy) Respectably asks that corky be allow to join the teapot club. He is a active 2 year old yorkie. and she feels he is the cutest dog she has ever seen. He weighs in at 9 lbs. (although he does not look like he is)

In record time but with a terse reply, our legal team has weighed in on Elvis' request. Here is their reply in its entirety:

NOW we're talking!!!! Not only have you provided the required photographic documentation of to go with your application, but you have divulged the real owner of Corky -- your daughter!

In a unanimous vote, The Teapot Club and Secret Society opens our collective arms to embrace our newest member, Corky. Congratulations. Corky will be assigned to a new branch of the club, one devoted to keeping track of Elvis and his mommy to make sure they don't pull any more shenanigans.

My 22 week old boy just weighed in at 9 and 1/4 lbs on my scale at work we use for packages. Not too sure how accurate that is, but I think he officially qualifies as a teapot! I think I posted pictures to the photo gallery, but I couldn't get them to attach to the post. :(
