Name: Louie-Louie (but just Louie for short) Age: between 3 and 4, we think (he's a rescue) Weight: 8.5 pounds Current Picture: see below :) A Brief Description: Louie is a very sweet little rescue yorkie, getting used to his new family. He seems to like it here, and has carved out his favorite spot on the back of the couch (so he can look out the window at the neighbors' sheep.) He loves other dogs, especially big ones, and cannot understand why they don't always like him back :confused:. The lady at the rescue called him "chubby" but he knows he is the perfect size, no matter how big a yorkie is "supposed" to be. Oh, and he LOVES belly rubs, as my sister demonstrates in the last photo :) |

Current Picture: See Attachments Description/Comments: We were blessed yet again, When receiving our darling little Princess at the age of 11.5 weeks. Where She joined us and Her Brother Sneakers (YTTPC Member since 04/2011) and has not stopped wagging Her tail since. (well.. maybe there have been a couple exceptions) :dogsm6: From the onset of Her arrival, She has taken possession of the our Hearts, the Yard, House, ALL of Sneakers Toys and Beds, and as much Cheese as we will allow in one bite. Becca knows no (human) stranger, and greets everyone with “yips” and a “hind leg dance” as a greeting. She absolutely loves to play Tug-O-War with anyone who will play, and has a Whip, which will sprain your Wrist if you’re not holding on to the toy REAL good ! Her favorite toy is “Rackie” the Zebra Striped Raccoon, who She viciously attacks on a regular basis, thrashing, biting and squeaking it’s head and tail so much, it drives us totally NUTS ! :eek: However, Becca has a dark side, and we call Her “The Warrior Princess”, Becca is fearless, and charges ALL Squirrels, Birds, Cats and any other intruder which would dare enter the Pack territory. This little Lady has a temper that is unmatched by any Dog I’ve ever had. Though not shown when She is dealing with the Human components of our Pack, IF Sneakers ticks her off, She’s after him like a shot, and the only way he gets out of Her way, is that he’s bigger and can run faster. (for now) :rolleyes: Her Alpha Female demeanor is showing up already, And successfully demonstrated when we go jog/walk down along the Bayou. She (both actually) frequently jump in, and catch Frogs, Snakes and an occasional Bird, which both Sneakers and She eats. I approve of them eating Raw, save that it’s just that I insist on them catching it themselves. I encourage both to develop their natural instincts to Varminteer. Normally Sneakers takes Point when we are “hunting”, but Becca has been allowed to lead on several occasions. Observing Her brother Sneakers has been a very good Teaching tool for Her, and She learns quickly. :thumbup: Becca (and Sneakers) have a job, With their territorial instincts, keeping an eye and ear on the Property, is a Task which She/both enjoy and perform quite well. We have observation points from the first and second floor windows, and She makes us aware of any approach, frequently running downstairs and out the Doggy Door, to confront the intruder. Alarming for the Postman, Trash Truck and our resident (area) Possum named “Sweetie”, are highlights of Her/their Day. :) Please excuse the shaggy look, The last Grooming was in August, giving Her/them time for some Coat growth through the winter months. The summer months are very warm here, and both are clipped rather short through those, and for their vigorous aquatic activities. ;) Your consideration in this matter, is greatly appreciated. Lovie looks like a great applicant, and everything looks good, but, I'm not sure about just having your Avatar as the picture requirement, it did say to "Attach". I'll have to defer this to The Bunchnevolent Elders of the Teapot Club and Secret Society for a final determination on that. GOOD LUCK ! :thumbup: Sorry, Im a total noobie and couldnt figure out how to attach pictures:( I added pictures in the photo album... Mr. President, Benevolent Elders of the Teapot Club and Secret Society, Members and Guests, I want to take this opportunity, to thank you for your special attention to my application. How gratifying is is to be rewarded for my personal quest to qualify. Our Provider has really been helpful, letting my Brother Sneakers and I run and hunt along the Bayou, and those Cheese Treats ARE specially tasty, though I think that the Frogs and Snakes actually put me over the top. :thumbup: Having witnessed the progression of this Forum, seeing how much love and respect those here have for we Yorkies, has given me a sincere appreciation of and for these Humans. A special thanks is offered, for ALL of those, who have Rescued and taken in our less fortunate Brothers and Sisters, in their time of need. Boys and their formalities...men in their suits and their paperwork...and when all is said and done and it's time for some elbow grease...they go on vacation! LoL have fun! Okay teapots let's all cause havoc and let the riff-raff side hang out while the authorities are away! All teapots are required to chew every dog purse on sight to cause upheaval and unrest in the teacup community! |
