The taping worked,Daisy's ears are up!!!! I am so freaking thrilled & PLEASED!! Thanks guys,sooooooo..much for all the great advice, this board is awesome, so glad I found this place!! :wavey: :thumbs up

wow she looks a lot like my Addie, we taped her ears last night. How old is she? And how long did you tape them for?

Wow, that was quick. Did you also trim the hair? How long did it take, it seems like about 3-4 days? She looks great!

She is only 12 weeks old. I only taped them for 24 hours.:)

Yep, I trimmed the hair on her ears, both sides as best I could. No, it only took 24 hours of tape being on....Thanks!:)

I had no idea it would work that fast either, but the girls here said that it probably would, and it did...so I am just tickled about it. If they happen to fall, I'll just tape again..lol..she didn't seem to mind it at all, thankfully.

Can you tell me how you taped them? What kind of tape did you use? I still can't get mine to stand up and stay up?

Hi, sure.
I just kind of folded her ears somewhat like a taco shell, following the advice of other members here. I actualy used electrical tape, because it's not so sticky, so it isn't too bad to remove.

check out this thread. It is the same one I recommended to her to use for her pup...not sure if she used this exact method or not but my maggie's ears would not stand no matter what I did and I did this and it worked.

Tasha...they look amazing. you did a great job. she doesn't even look like the same dog hehe. that is how maggies were...once I got them to stand, it changed her whole look. I just love it!!! however, my favorite pic of her so far, her ears are floppy :( but she is a doll. Your baby looks great. I know how excited you are...I thought I would explode with excitement :) congrats!!!!!

That is pretty much the method I used, only a different type of tape...Thanks Pepe Mint;)

Thanks pepe mint, yes..I was so excited....I think it changed her whole look too, although she was cute to begin with..now she seems to just have the extra something, she looks so perky now all the time..lol:p

Well she has the tape method on right now as of 3pm yesterday, I guess I'll know tonight if it worked or not. She keeps picking at them though, trying to scrape them off of her ears. I feel so bad and my husband thinks I'm cruel! But I too want the ear up look!

Congrats -- Daisy looks cute as a button with those perky little ears sitting up! Don't worry if one decides to droop for a day and then maybe the other. Sadie did that -- after both stood up for a couple of days, each one took a turn to lay down for a day and then they stayed up nice as you please.

I feel bad too cause Addie has them on, she had them on yesterday but managed to itch them off during the day, so I'm crossing my fingers they stay on today

She sure is cute. My Minnies ears was up and down while she was growing, once I trimmed the hair off her ears they stayed up too.

FlDebra- Thanks, I was wondering about the drooping, I noticed that Daisy's have been doing that...was worried what was going on. She has kept them up for the most part, always up when she is feeling playful, but I notice that when she is tired, she'll let the droop a bit, then they're back up. So , this is normal?


purpledaffodil- Oh, I felt bad too..really! But she didn't seem to mind the tape at all, so I had that going for me.
