I agree! They are great little hunters; diggers too. I would definately call the vet, but you can't stop genetics. I've had cats and you can't stop them fromk hunting rodents, bugs, birds, frogs, etc., which they bring you as gifts of love. Judy |

If you have set out poison for rodent control, I would definetly take him to the vet. It may be that the rodent was ill when your dog caught him. I don't set out any poison just because of this. My cats catch the mice and voles and my yorkies take them from them. But I haven't seen them eat them, they just play with them till they are dead and then I get to handle the rest. |
