HUm well that also makes me sad, If she did need help and we did this thread about her. maybe she does have a Miko that needs help but made a new member name for some reason. Then that would be her only fault.

Someone of you people should be working for the FBI...I know my style of posting is simple to spot, I dot, dot, dot everything ....,....,....but how you catch some of these others is terrific...!

I wonder if this Miko is a Yorkie, and if Kami is the owner? I feel terrible that some of us smelled a rat, because if this is a genuine puppy and owner, they're going to need lots of support no matter what the outcome will be:( She did state in one of her posts that she was going to get CareCredit, so it's a little funny that she would still be asking for donations. IMHO, if you are going to own pets, there's the chance of illness or accident and we all need to have provisions for that, just in case.

So many mixed signals, I don't know WHAT to think. I just couldn't get past the fraudulent posting via another account.

Well I'm sorry for Miko but his mommy screwed herself by using another name to back her claim up. ANYONE that does that is not a trustworthy person. Again, we can all feel terrible for Miko but sorry, I find it very hard to feel sorry for Kammi. Miko has been lingering for over ten days at a vet hospital. No one has given solid hope whether or not he'll pull through. He's just been stable and in her own words at times non responsive -just sleeps, yet instead of following up with the many places she was directed to call she spent her time 1. making a web page asking for $$ and 2. Posting her at YT asking for money. I'm not a cold person but the bottom line is she killed her credibility when she took on another screen name, using that to back up her claim, instead of just posting the vet info. from the get go. Just my feelings and I'll be keeping this little one in my prayers. I still think it's a sin to keep this poor pup lingering for over ten days in a strange cold facility being contantly prodded for testing. I think if Miko does exist that it is much better for him at this point to take him home, hold him and let him go allowing him to atleast experience some loving. Elaine.

I didn't donate ! Like Chachi I check how many posts they have. I felt for Miko, but there are so many scams out there I'd rather be safe than sorry!! I am sorry if that sounds harsh. Please forgive me!

What I noticed was a brand new person asking for money over and over. When jrsygal37 questioned her she got upset. I knew I wouldn't donate right there. I feel it should be OK to question a brand new member when they come looking for donations - people here have HUGE hearts. When someone continually mentions lack of money into their posts ...there's something more going on than just looking for support.

There are too many people using fake names out there for various reasons - and people have to be very careful these days who you believe.

Well I have to say that I think alot of this is just nuts!

Chrissy0277 said she called and there is a Miko there with kidney problems! Mayeb she is in desperate need of help and maybe she handled this all wrong who knows.

To me this isn't a true scam! She said that we could call the vets office and make donations. I can't see the vets office giving her the money. I didn't donate because I am not 100% sure about it all. However, without cold hard proof I don't see how anyone can come on YT claiming it is a scam. On the website she made asking for donations she said people could donate directly to the vets office. She gave the name and number. Anyway I don't think this should have been brought up by anyone other than the ADMINS.

I really hope that if Miko is her dog (and he is really that sick) that things get better soon!.

i am SO confused and REALLY pissed off... i was following this girl and even defended her when someone was questioning her credibility! i feel like a fool... so does she or does she not exist?? and does this dog exists???? what a horrible to thing to do. . now ANYONE who has a problem with their dog will be second guessed and i hate that.

LOL :) :) I do that too Pat & I agree - some people are meant to be detectives lol - I know there are a few people here who can find & catch the fakes right away .... I've seen it 1st hand.

I'm pretty good lately about spotting posting styles if I try ...but that one slid by me too - I was caught up in little Miko being sick. :(

Wow! I Pm her and offered to meet her at the vet and be of any help. She didn\'t take me up on it but sent me a Pm back thanking me and putting a link to Miko\'s health web. I was going to donate but something stopped me and I don\'t know why.

Halfway through her posts I started wondering if she was more worried about the puppies well-being, or the vet bills she was going to be facing. I just thought it was really ballsy of her to come and ask for money like that right away.

I remember you posted that too, about meeting her at the vet. Patti I say we head down to cook county and find this girl!
