Silk coat? My Abbie's grows painfully slooowly, too! Seems we can't have thick coats if we have silk. It's either / or. :(

My Reesie is 10 lbs with a wooly coat and floppy ears. Not exactly show quality but I wouldn't change a thing. She is so intelligent and was very easy to housebreak. I think I am very lucky to be able to experience both ends of the spectrum. |
YES! Aren't 'Abbie's the greatest? ;) And, "yes", you are blessed :).

Patti ~ From what I've seen, Cali is one of the most gorgeous pups on YT! I think the wooly or cotton coat doggies seem more likely to have the coveted 'baby' face. Don't you? Though, I don't envy the work her coat takes!

Abbie may grow more, I guess? Last she was weighed she was 6lbs; but, she's been spayed since, and feels heavier? I'm thinkin' 6lbs is THE poifect size! <g> Your "flying Walenda" cracked me up! Such carefree JOY in life!

uummmmmm... ...this musta been a typo? I'm thinking: "Yeah, I can see how having a
100% potty-trained pup is quite a burden to bear!" LOL

How old is she? Yes, I guess the soft fontanel would cause some worry just over accidental bumping of the head?

Tootie's a pretty smart guy, mom! Do some research - he's right - he IS a wolf <g>.

ohhhh, I forgot this one! OK, so I have TWO things I'd change! lol She's getting better about being anxious in the car; but, it still makes for a pretty unpleasant outing if we're going very far. :(

Yeah, I don't think we get to 'have it all' - we either get a nice thick coat with matts, or a silk smooth, albeit THIN coat. lol I'm HOPING she'll fill out some in the next year!

When we visited Abbie's litter, trying to make our choice, her sire kept doing the same thing! We'd be talking, and I'd see Taz on the back of the couch ready to jump. Well, my heart would be in my throat, but I couldn't catch him! Evidently he'd been doing this for years, as the breeder was not concerned.
