| help with clothes? my baby isn't a yorkie (i know, yorkietalk is for yorkies.. but you guys are such dolls!), but instead he's a chihuahua papillon mix. he's so hard to get clothes for since size small is way too big on his tiny legs, but extra small is a bit snug on the chest. he's definently has an odd body! so, does anyone know where to find patterns or tutorials for dog clothes, like how to make them? i got a sewing machine for christmas and want to try my luck with making him some clothes. thank you and happy holidays! |

Hi, he sounds adoreable. Have you bought the patterns and altered the patterns to fit him. It isn't hard to do that, I had to alter my patterns for Baby Blessing to adjust to fit her too. That is wonderful you got a new sewing machine for Christmas, you are going to have a lot of fun making him some new duds If I could help you with altering them just pm me and I shall be happy to try to help you with that through a pm. I also have some sites bookmarked that I would be happy to copy and paste them to you. Wishing you and yours a Blessed Christmas. Patti and Baby Blessing | |

| I haven't gotten any patterns yet since I don't know where to buy them. Do you have any suggestions of places? Also, I'm sure those sites would help very much! I haven't ever sewn too much, before. |

| Have you looked at Tinkerbells closet for clothes. She has some real small things and I know she has custom made some clothes for people too. Here is her link www.tinkerbellscloset.com

| http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com.../pet_items.php I know its a crochet link .... but there might be some templates and images that will help you create the right shape. Also check http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php There is a section on clothing for pets / crafting for your pets that might be useful. The craftsters site is really slow, and often buggy / down because its on too slow a server for the load it gets, but there is some great info on there if you can put up with that. |

| I have always just made my own patterns. If you have things that kind-of fit him, you can use them as a guide and alter where needed. Good luck and have fun!!
