Well, Abigail's weight has sort of kept up with her age - 2 months: 2.2lbs, 3months: 3lbs, etc, and she seems to be holding at 6lbs at 13months. She may be slightly bigger - it's been a few weeks since weight check. |
Chewy was about 3 pounds at 5 months...he is probably about 4 1/2 now and he is 8 months... I hear they can grow up to two years from some people with yorkies...My vet seems to think he wont get much bigger though! I have no idea how big he will be but I love him no matter what. I exspected him to get to be 7 pounds but most people tell me he won't ever see 7 pounds. Any one have any idea???? I sure don't!:confused: |

Indiana is a tiny 1.5lbs... :animal-pa Indiana weighs 1.5lbs at nearly 6 months. He will be 6 months old on the 28th. :-) he is staying tiny. he might weigh an ounce more but not much because every time he is weighed he keeps weighing 1.5lbs...lol. he is my little man. Juliet is 1 now and weighs 3lbs...but her weight goes up and down...he is less than half her size and according to the vet is not expected to get as big as her but we shall see...lol...i am not holding my breath because the last time i thought a yorkie would stay one size they totaly changed after 8 months old. (my girl Lexie) so you never know...i would like for him to get a little bigger as he is so teeny tiny and i didn't expect him to stay so small...not that i mind but the rest of my babies are all bigger...lol... ~Tru |

River sure is a cute little guy!!! At 5 months Sissy weighed 2 1/2 lbs. She was 3 1/2 lbs at 7 months when she was spayed and at 15 months is 4 lbs 4 oz. |
My little girl is a moose. She is 3 months old and already 4 pounds. The vet says she is going to be a latger Yorkie. I was told by the lady I bought her from that she would be around 5 or 6. So I guess she was wrong. She said the parents were not over 6 each...unless she lied. Or it could just be one of those variations. I am wondering though if it could be just puppy weight and it may slow as she gets older. Have any others Yorkie moms and dads had this experience? |

morgan was 3 pounds at 5 months and now she's 8 months and holding steady at 3.5 lbs. she looks bigger when what she weighs tho and she eats like a horse so i have no idea how she weighs so little |
Lucy is large. She's 11 mos and weighs 9 1/2 lbs. Rebel is 4 mos and weighs 2 lb 5 oz. I hope Rebel grows some. He's so little he scares me sometimes because he is totally fearless:) |

At 5 months? Hrm....I believe she weighed just at 2 pounds. She's now 10 months and weighs just over 3 pounds. |

Monster is just about 5 months and weighs a slice of cheeze less than 3 lbs. His vet said she thinks he'll be 6 lbs full grown, if he even reaches 6. Even little dogs can get big. My mom has a pomeranian complete with pedigree and papers...and he's 25 lbs!! A mutant! |

Pepper's weight at 5 month - 4 lbs 6 oz. At over 6 months - 4 lbs 11 oz. He's slowing down (I think -he used to gain a pound each month for the first 3 months I had him) |
Kodak was 1 1/2 lbs at 5 months, he is 2 years old now and weighs a whopping 3 1/2 lbs now. :D |

My one was 1.6 up to 7 months and now made it to 3 lbs. The other one was 2 1/2 lbs at that age and now weighs 5 lbs. |
