| They drag their toys outside! When I let my dogs out to potty, they will almost always go find a toy to take out with them and I have to grab the toy from them on their way out. Toys aren't cheap and they get nasty out in the yard. But apparently I don't always catch them... Today my sons and I were in the backyard cleaning up things for the winter (putting bikes & toys away, getting the rest of the leaves cleaned up etc) Anyway, when they got bored of helping they went on a treasure hunt. Do you know how many dog toys they found? 19! (We live on almost an acre so there is a bit of room to hide toys ) They put them in a huge pile, there were some OLD toys there. Tink jumped right in the pile and discovered a tiny square tennis ball that I had bought my maltese before Tink was even a member of our family. She LOVED IT! Anyway, just thought I'd share with you all where all the toys end up at our house LOL |

| Oh, I thought we were the only ones that had that happen. Only one or 2 at a time, we have a small yard and I usually spot them. With the doggie door they can sneak them out. Last week the little darlings found the new 24" BoBo that I bought for Christmas and somehow dragged it out into the yard before I got home. Can you wash them and maybe they'll think they have a new batch of toys?

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | My Mozart (mix) will often grab something on his way out; but, on the rare occasion that Abigail is out, she's too busy with the wonders of the outdoors to bother with toys!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | That's hilarious! Eddie sneaks toys outside and buries them. Long after I've forgotten about them, he'll dig them up and drag them into the house. I've noticed he rolls on his toys in the house, too. I'll bet anything he's making sure he's got his scent on them so he can find them later. But 19 toys! I think your gang wins the prize for best stashers.

| I agree that yours should get the prize for sneaking out 19 toys! My Jack Russell does that, but the Yorkies haven't as yet. Candy is almost frantic about it. She'll start to go out and while I am holding the door open, she makes a mad dash in to snatch a toy and out it goes. Many come back in but sometimes after they have gotten VERY dirty. We have about an acre of our property fenced in too so I have to make the big sweep before mowing each time and usually come back with a small haul -- but never 19! LOL!

Mine take toys out just because they don't want the other to get ahold of them ...Chanel will carry them around and always (most always) bring them back inside..... Check out Chanel - she has TWO TOYS Stuffed in her mouth...Jenn and Patti just sent them 2 little toys as gifts and we're on DAY THREE of her walking around with both of them - poor Cheri .....she's just an innocent kid tryin to play and the Toy hog won't let her I cant imagine 19 toys in my yard lol |

| Mine do the same thing. Mollie takes all of her balls outside hoping that she can entice us to come and play with her. Every few days we have to collect them from outside.

| That's so funny!!! Once I couldn't find Jaxon's soccer ball - I searched high and low but it was no where to be found. He had taken it outside and it bounced off the deck and outside his gated area. He was very happy when it was back inside.

| Oh boy! Does that just bring back great memories of my little Mickey. He would always pick up a toy or a bone when we were going outside. Boy was he quick and inconspicious! I have a new little furbaby who is 3. I know this sounds absurde, but I can't wait for her to do the same thing! This is too cute and they outsmart us a lot. |

| Has anyone ever run over toys with the lawn mower? I have a bit of fluff here and there in the yard too...my hubby has on more than one occasion sent fluff flying everywhere. It totally annoys him but I don't know why he doesn't look around first. |
