| Teething can cause unpleasant breath - there isn't too much you can do about it. There are products out there that are supposed to help, but really, dogs have smelly breath anyways... Petzlife oral spray helps - but it's only a temporary fix and it wears off really quickly - it is good for helping to keep the teeth clean though.

| My baby is 6 months too and his breath stinks at times. He is teething so I guess it is normal and I do brush his teeth everyday but still stink a bit

| Oh his breath is just smelly because he is teething. It happens to all yorkies when they are teething. He will be done teething around 7 months of age and his breath will clear up right away after then. I use Petzlife for Teeth products and have really noticed a difference in my yorkies' breath. You can order it here and receive free shipping: http://beyondbeds.com/index.asp?Page...PROD&ProdID=44 You can either get the gel, spray, or both. I got the gel because my yorkies are scared of spray bottles. And even though the gel says "brush away," you don't have to actually brush their teeth for it to be effective. I just rub some of the gel on roof of their mouth every night and they are good to go! It works through their saliva so all you have to do is get the stuff in their mouth anyway you can and it will do it's magic on it's own. No more bad breath! | It could be. Perhaps some food got wedged between the teeth and gums if they are loose. Do you brush your pups teeth? If not it is a good thing to get started while they are young. You can also try Fresh Bites, they are little treats, all natural and have parsley in them. I give Buddy two every morning after brushing. They are very little. What kind of food does your little one eat? Carol & Buddy |

| Could be capped molars, that are causing bad breath.

| I think it is all about teething. Siu Pao's breath is really bad when he started teething at about 5 months. So far, I had only collected 2 of his teeth because he was chewing on them. He might have had swallowed the others. His breath is better now though compared to when he first started teething.

| Maddie had bad breath when she was losing her baby teeth and adult ones growing in. That only lasted a few weeks and her breath was back to smelling sweet and has been ever since!
