| I made a pet bed for my baby!!! Yippee happy happy! Helloo!! I am so happy I made a pet bed for him! As soon as I lay it down for him, he lays in it like he is dead...I was so scared I had to look closely for his breathing lol. And the last picture is my budgie checking the bed out. She is the small yellow green thing on the right of the bed.

| Aww, he looks so relaxed. I wouldn't have noticed the little bird if you hadn't said anything. How do those two get along?

Under supervision, they play together They have seperate areas when I go out. I do not trust him till he is older. My bird, her name is Chapou is not afraid of Siu Pao at all. She pecks his nose and he puts up with it Siu Pao tries to play with her like he does with another puppy so I have to remind him each time to be gentle He wags his tail and invites her to play. Its funny. Siu Pao was actually sleeping in the bed when she flew down to look for him to play and...he ran off

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | VERY NICE !! You did a great job .... and just a little advise on the bird - yorkies and birds aren't really a good mix as far as playing - my girls think birds are BIG fun to chase and actually have caught 2 in mid air in the yard - (before I could stop them) needless to say - the birds didn't make it..... I don't think their intention was to kill - but the birds were SO fragil...I almost think they died of fright .... |

| What a great bed -- looks like it made an instant hit with Siu Pao! Can you tell me how to pronounce your little one's name? Can you give phonics or "rhymes with" example? I love unusual names and would like to know what it sounds like. Thanks!

mmm...hehe this is a hard one...siu pao means pork bun in chinese..perhaps when you go to a chinese restaurant, you can ask them how to pronounce it. I will try. Siu kinda sounds like "See-You" but you have to go really fast on the "ee"-->I am so bad in this, hope it didn't confused you...As for the word Pao, it is pronounced similar to Judge Bao's "Bao". Judge Bao was a legend in China for upholding the law and doesn't accept bribes and stood up for the poor. So..kinda like "See-YOU BAO"..lol...

Thanks Vi for the reminder. I do monitor them very closely. Usually, it is not Siu Pao that looks for Chapou, it is the other way round and my bird is real feisty and fierce. She doesn't run from him, he on the other hand runs from her. I will try to take pics/video when they play together
