It is good to be here. I find that I am addicted already. :tongue: I come here for everything little thing and sometimes nothing. :rolleyes:

I need help. :confused: I am picking up my furbaby in a few weeks :aimeeyork (when she is old enough to be weened off her mommy) and I need some names.
I have a little boy named Gizmo...which I should have named Chewbacca. (As this is what he looks like sometimes)

Suggestions anyone????????? It's a baby girl.

to me. It has that baby doll edge though. (Which she will be) We are kinda goofy over here and a little prissy. Although, I don't know what her personality will be like she may act like royalty. :)

Gracie is also a great little girl name. That was 1 of the names on my list for Lily. My sister was saving it for a two legged baby so I didn't use it. Gracie and Gizmo sounds good together too.

I like Trinket too, but I also like Tricket, it kinda sounds like Wicket (you know cause they look like little ewoks from Star Wars). I also like:

Thank you guys soooooooooooooooooo much!!! :good job: I'm sorry I haven't responded to all the great names posted in 2 weeks. I have been busy and anxious at the same time, awaiting my little girl. :jump28ib: I just received new pictures of her. (file is too large to attach and I don't know how to minimize them)

I have to go through all of you wonderful posters post, to dig through and pick a name for her. (still) There are so many good ones that we are "still" undecided. :eyetearss As of right now, the kids and I have scaled it down to 41 names :eek: from what you guys gave us. (It was more than that) We have another family discussion coming up on Thursday to scale this list down.

I just had to get on tonight and thank you all. I will keep you posted.

I know this is a little off topic here but, I must applaud you for your caring heart. I read a thread about a $100. adult Yorkie "living with a witch" and you were willing to travel and pick him up out of his miserable situation. Even spent your own time with no avail, calling and calling this woman until you got her and the answer you were not looking for. (He is sold) I just had to commend you on this and let it be known!!!! :bravo:

Do you have a special meaning you might want to use? When Matty was born I wanted a name that would explain her personality and encourage her. I looked up the meanings for survivor, strong, strength, fighter and anything like that that I could think of. Matty is German and means Strong Fighter. In my opinion she almost died. If I hadn't taken her to the vet as soon as I found her I believe she would have died. Ummm, I probably should explain that I meant I found her soon after she was born. She was ice cold and not breathing right. I know her new mama will give her a different name but felt we had to call her something. Try these sites for unusual names. Sylvia

I have no idea what my baby girls personality is as far as watching her myself. :rolleyes: I did receive a pic of her playing with her brother and her mouth was wide open. lol

I am interested in hearing Matty's story though. :( What happened that you found her lifeless body? Did the mommy reject her?

My little girl yorkies name was CeCe pronounced cheche. I just loved that name, I felt it was kinda original. Good luck with your furbaby and names.

Karen - that's my niece's name (Cecilia), but we call her Cece and sometimes call her CheChe (because that's how you pronounced Cecilia in Italian)

How about Gizmo and Solar? Other names I like are Amber, Cici, Lena, Ambie...

on a side note...I used to know a girl whose siblings all had fabric names except one...I SWEAR! She was Satin, her sister was Cashmere, her brother was Courdoroy, and thier other brother was something plain, like Carl...he must have been born first... :p

Gizmo's Mom, This was Lady's first litter. She didn't make the typical noises I was expecting when she started labor. THIS PART IS VERY GRAPHIC!!!!! She had the little boy first and I guess she didn't know when to stop eating the placenta and afterbirth, she ate his little legs and tail. I am assuming he breathed because I could see the stumps were a good red color.

Autumn was jumping all over my husband and woke us up, I went to the bathroom and saw the pup in the bed I got for all of them to use. When I checked him I thot he was deformed and that was why he didn't make it. Lady ran under the bed and started making noises and my husband had to pull the bed away from the wall to get to her and the puppy. I think she had Matty and left her. When we got up and started looking around she went to protect this little whatever it was that came from her body. Matty was ice cold and was having trouble breathing so I started swinging her trying to get the liquid out of her lungs and rubbing her to make her yelp. All I got were pitiful little sounds so we dressed in a hurry and grabbed mom and ran to the vet. I don't know what they did in the back room but they brought her back warm and breathing better. She will be 3 weeks tomorrow, so far so good. I'll post more pics after I weigh her tomorrow. Sylvia
