Omg A Lab/yorkie Mix Puppies!!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE PEOPLE THINKING??? http://www.ksl.com/?nid=218&ad=686948&cat=&lpid=1 |
There's NO WAY this is true. Please don't buy it. ;) lol |
...even if she was dwarfed, the only way this would be possible is through AI, and even then I'd be suprised if the pregnancy took and was carried to term. How ridiculous. |
This just freaks me out what are they gonna come up with next yorkie/rottie's or how about yorkie/horse lol |

Why coudn't they have bred? Some females get very cooperative, and it sounds like they were planned so the owner may have even assisted. I don't find it any more unusual than the one who had a 2 1/2 pound stud for a 10 female. The only problem with the ad is, I don't agree with the medium range of weight, some may be 10 pounds and some may be 50 pounds but the weight won't just average out to 30 pound yorkies. |
I saw that ad a while ago and thought what the heck?!? BTW, I just noticed you're in Salt Lake too - yaaay! |
It says, "The new designer breed." puhleeeeze! LOL! At least they are only asking $100 for these instead of adding on the zeros like some of the mixes. Wish I was good at drawing -- I'd make a cartoon of a little yorkie guy climbing a ladder to get to his sweety lab. |
Because. Genetically I don't know that because of the wide range of development for the growth plates within the womb that these puppies of this direct cross would've survived. Regardless of whether or not the female was cooperative. I mean, granted, I hear 10lbs and I don't think a *huge* Yorkie, but he'd have to be of significant size + bone for this to actually take place in a one generation cross. |
gee..that make me sick.. |

I just moved last weekend, I'm right below Liberty Park on 9th S and 3rd E. Where are you? I read your bio on Peeka, what a darling story. Which breeder did you get them from? |

Well there are some pretty strange mixes out there. I'd like to see one full grown to see what they look like. Imagine a yorkie the size of a lab. |

I'd be first in line if I could have a lab sized Yorkie (if the temperment was the same!) lol, could you imagine? However, don't think that I'm at all interested in these pups or even believe a word she's posted. ;) |
I'm gonna call her tomarrow and ask for a new updated pic lol |
That is so weird, I just moved out of West Valley. I'm getting my baby late January and I wanted to be close to work so I can go home and check on her at lunch. I'm originally from Hawaii and even after 14 years I can NOT get used to winter weather and the yucky driving conditions so have been wanting to move closer to town even before I found my baby - but now I have the perfect excuse:) |
wow it's so nice to have someone so close this is great!!!well when you get your baby we'll have to have a play date!!! |
I would love that! Thank you:) |
i'll pm you and we can chat some more |
:animal-pa aww...I thought of naming a yorkie Picabo after seeing Picabo Street on the tv show "Celeb Paranormal Project." Your babies are so cute! :animal36 |

Yeah, its sad how people get so crazy over the tiny ones. The pup I want is small but he'll get bigger and he already looks big and sturdy. |
well Peeka is pretty small to but it's just i hate the way they try to sell them ya know let's hike up the price a couple thousand more because they are so small. it's just sad i seen a 1.6 lb yorkie that this lady was studding it is sad |

actually not impossible. My friend has a lab...her husband has a chi...they had pups last year...she LAID DOWN FOR HIM...little hussy. This year, he didnt get the opportunity needless to say...she was not pleased. Kristie |
ACOWB.... I know it's entirely possible for them to mate. I've witnessed first hand a lab that laid down for a Basset Hound! HOWEVER, I'm quite certain that any eggs fertilized-especially from the mix you've just stated WON'T be carried to term. Just because they breed does not mean they'll produce. |
Well it certainly is an interesting mix. Who thinks of these things anyway? |
they did have pups...5 of them. I'll have to see if she has a pick..they looked like labs for the most part...just a little "off' lol. Probably wouldn't have believed it had i not seen them every other day for 8 weeks. Kristie |
