New Baby Thread! :) 1 Attachment(s) Ok, I thought I would start this thread for all of us who are getting new baby's either this month or next month. I thought some of the older wiser YT members and breeders could post good information here as to things you'll want to do for your new baby, things to watch out for etc. And we can all say when we're getting our new baby and the names we've picked out and once we get pictures we can post them here. I noticed quite a few people are getting puppies so I thought this might be fun. :) I'll be getting my little girl in Januaray and her name is Jada Jewel Chanel :D Here's a picture of her: |

Everyone's babies are just darling!! :) I think you're right V, maybe I should invest in buying a maid! LOL So, what type of dog food are you guys feeding your babies? I was thinking of putting mine Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers soul.. |

Awesome, I'm heading to town today so I will definitly have topick some up. I think it'd be nice to, to have since I'll have Jadajewel, the puppy, and Jaden who's 2 years old, I've heard both ages can eat this food and that its good for both of them which is hard to find with a "puppy" food :thumbup: |

Oh my goodness....I was going to name my daughter Jayda Jewel! What a small world. But at the last minute I changed her name to Jayda Elise. Jewel was my mother's middle name, and now that she has passed, I wish I would've kept it as I originally planned. |
I should hopefully be getting my little boy in the next 3 months or so (I'm waiting for a litter to be born)! Everyones future and new little ones are gorgeous and cute as can be!:D :p :thumbup: Congrats in advance;) :) |
All of the babies are so cute. Congratulation. My advice is train early!!! I am fining out that my Momiji is so attach to me already and having hard time staying home alone.... (I got her 3 weeks ago...) Start early is the key, I think. Also sign up for puppy class early too. I try to sign up one starting this week but it was already full so I have to wait until next month. I really wanted to start early to socialize her.... I just took her first puppy happy hour and she was not happy. She was on my lap the whole time.... |
I won't get my new baby until April :(. She will be born in February, though, and I'm gonna pack up Maizee and go see my baby! I am so excited!! I'll put up pictures as soon as she's born :D |

2 Attachment(s) Here is our new baby we got this weekend Anna's Naughty Little Nicky. I drove 9 hours one way to get her. I made sure to take Nutrical with me to give her on the way home. She ate great when we got her home; however, I know sometimes pups don't, so I would give them Nutrical (or some PB) until they get to where they are eating well. Also keep them well supervised when introducing them to the dogs you already have. Roxy loves any dog she meets on the street, but she didn't like Nicky when we first brought her home. She knew that she was moving in on her space (I wonder what she's going to think when she starts sleeping with her boyfriend:eek: ) Also since we had a long trip I covered my back seat with piddle pads, and when she started getting squirmy I would stick her back there to pee. I'm kind of leery of just letting them out anywhere to go. You never know where the other dogs "going" there have been. Blondiegirl I'm glad you found a little girl. I'm sure she's going to be wonderful. |
