I never had that problem with Lucy...She was like Mikey she would eat anything. I know your not suppose to let them eat what they want. but Lucy was 16 so I did what ever made her happy. McDonald FF were her favorite. Maggie (my Christmas furbaby) will be under a diffrent set of rule... Jenny |
Starving puppies are no good. try a plate! I've only had Monster for about a month, and had to hand feed him for the first week, until my boyfriend said "Stop spoiling that damn dog!" He would not eat out of a bowl, and still won't to save his life, probably. He will eat off a plate though. I don't know why. Also, he has to have just a little bit of sodium free chicken broth drizzled over the dry food for him to eat it. I don't know if yours will take on to the plate, but it definitely made a difference for mine. |
I went through this too with Chewy... it drove me crazy when he was small cause I was so worried about him ALL THE TIME. But after he got to be 6 months I stopped the hand feeding... It turns out Chewy eats a little all day long.. He eats way less when I try to get him to eat and when he thinks I;m not looking he is cruching away on his food!!! Talk about a little BRAT!!! LOL But I know he eats now... Some days more then others but I just make sure the bowl aways has food in it so he can always have as much as he wants! |
