That's me and Chanel - we're so bonded it's scary and as much as I love Cheri - Chanel and I share something I don't have with anyone else....so you're right - what others do or say doesn't matter and believe me - Hobbs is WAY WAY CUTE - I'm in love with that face of his - hootie is a total dollbaby but he has that 'something' special and it shows in his pictures...actually they both do lol - I mean - LOOK AT THESE FACES of your kids - TOTAL CUTENESS !!! |
Does a 6oz weight difference really show that much??? the same happens with my 2, Pippa is 8lb ball of fluff and ...Jake well he is a 38kg ball of fluff so no one bothers with him as he cant sit on their lap |
Awwwww, your story made me tear up! Damn hormones !!!! :) Well I'd give them both equal lovin!!! I'd scoop them both up and probably hog them the whole time!!! Its funny but my biggest Yorkie (15lbs) gets all the attention. I think its his personality. I think he's really human!!! |
Oh poor little Hobbs. Mommy have to give him lots of kisses and attention when he is ignored :) I am sure that will make a whole lot of difference to him. |

You'd be surprised how much it does show. They are so tiny anyway, that any weight at all shows up. They are brother and sister and look almost exactly alike now besides the size. And Hootie is still a little darker since she's younger. |
That makes me so sad to hear :( Poor Hobbs. I would have been kissing and loving on them both. I would be so mad at my "friends" if they did that  Your babies are cute and anyone who doesn't love both of them equally is just missing out on some good lovin' :D Give Hobbs and Hootie kisses from me and Coco (give Hobbs one little extra for having his feelings hurt). |
I would have said something. I get that with Daisy and Kodi too. I tell them to say hi to both or not at all. They have feelings too.:( |
ahh poor baby. I'd say the same as others have. when that happens, just scoop him up and cuddle on him. |
i get the same thing with my 3 and there all about the same size Everyone leaves Austin out When i walk Brownie hell be growling & barking at them but they still wanna pet him When i walk Austin he wags his tail & wants to kiss everyone & all they have is stupid comments they dont say hello to him :( people are terrible if i was at your house i would have both your babies on my lap !! |

POOR LITTLE HOBBS  I KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS! YOUR DOING THE BEST THING IN GIVING EXTRA HUGS AND KISSES ! GIVE HIM ONE FOR ME! :) |
Oh poor Hobbs . . . . that must be so heartbreaking for you both :( . Does Hobb's not have the personality to make up for his unusually LARGE size :D . I too have a boy and a girl and clearly Annika is the cuter one although my daughter thinks otherwise. However, Tiger is very sociable and loves to be kissed and cuddled so he will let you whilst Annika has only eyes for ME. So because they have different personalities and Tiger obviously has a "bigger" one, my guests eventually splits their attention equally to both of them. |
AWWWWWWWWWW! Thanks SO much everyone! I'm gonna read all these messages to Hobbs so he will know that EVERYONE on YT just LOVES him and it doesn't matter what our "friends" think. He is special, too! :p :p :p |
I think when everyone is over you need to tell them house rule is that Hobbs gets held the same amount of time as Hootie. Or no more wine for them. ;) |
Poor little Hobbs! It's that way with humans too...when a baby comes into the picture, people gush and goo over the baby, many times ignoring the other child. I always make sure I give the older child the attention first and then have a look at the baby. It's ridiculous that 1/2 pound would even matter. I think if it were me, I'd say something like, "Hobbs wants some attention too...he's feeling left out." If I ever meet you and your furbabies, you can count on my giving Hobbs lots of love and attention!!! |
