I am so sorry to hear that things aren't going well for Annie, bless her little heart. I wish there was something I could say or do to make things better for you and Annie. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers and may you have the strength to make whatever decisions must be made in the best interest of Annie. God Bless you all.

thankyou so much everyone.
a lady i talk to on another site (shes owns the site) just rang me and said she thinks annie might have a very bad ear infection and as my vets are not very good and i havent got the money to pay for a good vet she will take annie to her vets and then do fund raiseing on her site to pay for the bill, how lovely is that?
what a lovely woman, i just dont know how i would thank her if it turns out annie has an ear infection and thanks to her and people on her site annie gets better.
there are angels that walk the earth and shes one of them.

My Jewel had similar symptoms except for the yelping when touched. I hope Annie doesn't have what Jewel did. Is Annie having any seizures?

Jewel had what's the neurologist thought was Necrotizing Encephelitis or GME. I don't want to add more stress and worry you more but it is very serious and fatal. If Annie is not having seizures, it's probably not what ailing Annie.

I'm so glad to hear an angel stepped in to help! I hope and pray it turns out to be an ear infection and Annie will be well soon!!! Hugs to you!

yes she has started having fits, i have looked up gme and it might be it thats causing her problems. im so sorry for your little one.

Oh Lord! I hope not! If she has a seizure, get a bag of ice and put it on her lower back between her last ribs and her tail, it helps to cool them down and recover from it faster. It ONLY works on the lower back.

Also, add some gelatin to her meals and cut out as much glucose from her diet as possible.

I found it very helpful to put a bell on her to alert us when Jewel was in trouble.

GME and NE are untreatable... I really hope Annie has an inner ear infection since the symptoms are similar. Have you had her checked for it yet?

Keep us updated and feel free to PM me if you need more info or support. Jewel fought this disease for a year and we learned quite a lot about it so don't be shy about PMing us.

thankyou everyone.
annie has just come in season so i think thats why she hasnt been that good as today shes better.
ive spoken to the last vet who saw her and he said its best if annie stays with me as she will get stressed out going to someone she doesnt know and a place she doesnt know, also the lady has 12 dogs at the mo so annie would prob go mad at them.
the vet said he will do the cushings test for 95 and have the results back that day so as im on benefits i can get a budgeting loan from the benefit people.
im gonna get him to test for a few things ive found out about on the internet and if they come back she hasnt got them i will then know she has a brain tumor.
ive worked out she isnt having fits shes got rem sleep disorder.
im getting blood test back tomorrow so will let you know what it says.
