| Crate Training I have recently purchased a Yorkie/Chahuahua mix. He is a wonderful puppy, about 3 pounds, and has an abundance of energy. My question is, what is an alternative to leaving him in the crate all day when both adults in the home work? He is left for approximately 8 hours a day. He does pee in his crate but nothing else. I am feeling guilty but do not know an alternative....ugh. Any suggestions? |

| I would get an x-pen and place his crate inside, wee pad and toys. I leave water and when a puppy, dog food. At first I put wee pads all on the bottom but now just one pad. You can also keep him in a bathroom or kitchen with a gate, wee pad and water, toys, and his crate. Jessica |
