Opinions Desperately Needed 1 Attachment(s) My husband gave into the idea of a fourth furbaby. :happyboun So, happily I went on a search. Well, I need your opinion on what my gut instinct is telling me. Based on this photo, though not the greatest, would you say she is a Yorkie Mix - Possibly Yorkiepoo? Or, Pure Bread Yorkie? The Breeder says she has the Father and has sent me a picture of him. But, not the Mother. She is still extremely young at only 14 weeks. But, she just doesn't look like any of my other furkids when I adopted them. Her hair seems all puffed and her ears are drooped, etc. I thank you in advance for any and all responses. Happy Holidays  |
she looks like she could be yorkiepoo to me |
Congrats on getting a 4th baby!! The pic isn't the greatest but she looks like a Yorkie to me she just has fluffy hair. She is adorable though!! Good luck and keep us updated. |
I'd say she's a yorkie, but what do I know? Congrats on getting a fourth!!! |
did they give you her weight? she looks big? But I think a floppy ear yorkie. |
I'd ask for a better picture. I agree, she does not look all yorkie to me. |
She looks like a fluffy yorkie to me (but what do I know?!). If the breeder says yorkie and she doesn't have the mother, I would think she could produce photos for you. Congrats on the 4th pup!!!! |
3 Attachment(s) ;) Here are pics of Chewy when he was 3 months. HIs hair was fluffy he is full yorkie...hope it helps |
Is that a brown nose that I see? Why does he have the pup and the dad but not the mom? I'd definitely ask more questions. What line does this pup come from? Lots to learn before making the big decision! |

She looks like a poorly bred yorkie . |
1 Attachment(s) Thank you ever so much for all of your insights. I am not certain of her current weight, but have been advised that her adult weight should be within 4-6lbs. I've received Vet references from this Breeder - Which I am checking on tomorrow. With all the scams these days, I demanded and just received a picture of the Father. I'm by no means and expert but he looks liver colored. Does any one know if this is reason for concern? Will his being liver colored affect the overall health of his offspring? WOAH IS ME... I'm starting to think I should just hold off and wait for a sibbling of one of my current furkids. My experiences with their Breeders were so pleasant and worry free. |
I really wonder why he used this male at stud . He should be neutered . |
huh he almost looks like a chocolate. The dad that is. JMO I would not buy her unless the price is very (right). |
I'd like to see a picture with better lighting and a white background. I just couldn't tell. Teri:animal-pa |

I would definitely say yorkie-poo, it looks just like the 2 pups except they were black that my yorkie had with my friends poodle, but i can always be wrong, check out the mom first, but again in my opinion, Yorkie-Poo. |
looks like a cutie pie whatever he is. But,, I am leaning towards a mix. I wouldn't buy him because of the floppy ears. my personal preference. |

I am no expert so if you are concerned about wanting fullbreed yorkies, I guess you need to check on both parents, papers, etc . . . Gosh Kellie, I sure am envious that you are getting another one:) |
1 Attachment(s) I can't tell. He's definitely cute! Either way, congratulations on getting the green light for No. 4. I tried lightening the picture up a bit, but I'm not sure that helps. |

I say yorkie poo, I have one and that pic looks exactly like what Coco did. |
2 Attachment(s) this baby looks ALOT like my Tootie did as a pup! Tootie is the complete opposite of the "standard" but he is SO MUCH FUN! He is 16 lbs and as tall as my Boston Terrier. I tried to tell my breeder that someones poodle got into the henhouse... they denied it but he sure looks YorkiePoo to me... he is CKC by the way... I love his down ears... it makes him look like a baby forever... it sure looks like this baby will be alot bigger than our little ones... |
I think he's adorable. If you are looking for purebred and you are questioning this, then go with your gut and keep looking. If you are just looking for another furbaby too love and he's healthy, then go for it. Go meet him and see what you think. He sure is cute. |

But if you're just looking for another little sweetie to love, and the price is right....I think he's REALLY cute!!! |
Update... 1 Attachment(s) :wavey: Though all references and her Vet have checked out via phone, I'm still a bit leary. After a few phone calls back and forth with the Breeder, it was determined that the Mother passed away a few days after giving birth. Sad as it may be, one would think that the Breeder would have pictures of her. In any event, I have a business trip scheduled in the next couple of weeks which is oddly 30 miles away from where the Breeder is located. As with most Breeders, she has a no refund policy on deposits. And, I am not THAT free with funds. So, we have come to a mutual arrangement whereas she will not commit to holding this little one should another forever home make contact between now and my arrival. However, once I am there "IF" my suspicions are placed at ease, I will either bring the little one back with me if not sold at that time. Or, put a deposit down for a furbaby of a future litter. Here's another picture of the little lady. Those ears  still makes me think along the lines of Yorkiepoo. Or, some MAJOR shaving and tapping are in order! Thank you again for all of your insights. I will keep you posted. Happy Holidays:exclaim: |
I think she looks like a pure bred. Congrats on the 4th!! I'm so jealous. |
