Chris from Starshineyorkies.com (YT Member Starshine) flew in from Alabama to pick up a new baby from Sumtoiyorkies.com (YT Member DRAY) so we decided to make a night of it with a dinner party at my home and a show coat/top knot lesson for Chris since she was having such a difficult time find help from breeders in her own state of Alabama.

I thought you would all enjoy putting some faces to the names here on YT, it was go great meeting Chris finally in person and welcoming these great YT members into my home.

from left to right with YT member names
scappinmomma (Kelly) and her lovely daughter kianoa, me (Kimberly), DRAY (Debbie) Susanbee (linda sue) RMKC (candy) Starshineyorkie (Chris)...the rest you all can figure out:)

Kimberly , I don't know how you did all that you did. The car trouble, the wonderful dinner, and all of the people and dogs in your house!!! By the way the dinner was so good I wanted an extra tummy, and the deserts!!! My goodness Linda they were so good. Well I left last night in tears and I just forgot to thank you for everything you did for every one. Candy it was nice meeting you and Chris it was so much fun to meet you, take care of my babies....

Had a very enjoyable evening. The atmosphere very relaxed, great food, new friends and old and well...just a great evening. A great play date for puppies as well. Gotta have the Chicken recipe Kimberly. Glad to hear that Chris made it home safe. We must do it again.

Thankyou Debbie. I enjoy baking and love it when I have an audience. I don't do much of it anymore since I don't need it and just give it away. Pleased that you enjoyed it. It was a fun, relaxed evening.

It looks like everybody had a great time! But heck with good food, nice company and yorkies, what else could it be. I'm sad I couldn't make it!

it was cajun chicken pasta, and gargonzola salad and linda made such wonderful desserts, oreo cookie mixture of something yummie, a french chocolate cake and an oatmeal cake ...I can assure you there wasnt a lack of food, yorkies and great people in my house that night:) It was such a pleasure...cant wait to do it again soon...any of the northwest is welcome at anytime to join us, an open invitation. :D

Oh I am jealous . . wish there were yorkie mommies I know close by . . I would gladly host a party anytime just to meet up with a yorkie mom and play with other yorkies . . . if only I did not live in the boonies :D

ok get your pens ready

Linguine pasta

4 chicken breast cut into strips
cajun seasoning (lightly cover all the pieces
couple tlbs butter or so
saute the chicken till cooked through

green pepper - julienned
red pepper - julienned
bit of onion
couple minced garlic cloves
fresh ground black pepper

add to chicken and saute together

add
3 cups heavy whipping cream
about 1/2 tsp basil
tsp of lemon pepper
bit of salt and ground pepper

simmer until it lightly bubbles
turn down to low to thicken just a bit

pour onto a bed of pasta
top with fresh grated Parmesan cheese

takes about 20 minutes
serve with hot bagette

enjoy!

I'm back to my old self, this was the first time I have ever experienced jet-lag. Everyone has already posted what a great time we had. The food was great, the company was great, everything was fantastic.
