Is she pure Yorkie? I am so bothered right now! We bought Charlotte in April from a breeder in OK. Now that she is growing up she is not looking like pure yorkie. I am totally fine with it because I love her so much, no matter what she is! I am very mad that we paid so much money for her and I think she may be a hybrid. I got to thinking and I never recieved her AKC papers...strange things happened when we bought her that are just now hitting me. I am so mad that their are people like this out there! Should I investigate this and possibly report this lady or just let it go? Please help!! |

Which one in your Avatar is she? It's hard to tell because the pics are small but, to me, they both look yorkie but, bigger pics would be better....Did you say you DIDN'T get her papers? |
Yes, the breeder did NOT give us her papers. I sent an e mail last night but have not heard back from her. I recommended two friends to this lady and when we were getting our babies she would not let us go to her house to pick them up...she would only deliver them. No one else also got AKC papers as well. When my husband asked how much the parents weighed she informed us that our puppy would be no bigger than 4 pounds, the mom and dad were both a little over 3 lbs. All of our babies are already about 6 lbs. Im trying to post new pics...for some reason it is saying my pics are too big...sorry...trying to figure out! On my avatar she is on the left.... |

She looks adorable! And yes, a yorkie. Lots of yorkies have down ears, if that is what your concern was about. She looks to have very pretty coloring.:) |

She's adorable, and yes she does look like a yorkie... as said above, there are a lot of yorkies out there with floppy ears. |

I'm wondering the same thing about my Luna:( Not that I care either way, but I certainly didn't pay for a mixed puppy. So I know how you're feeling. I didn't get my papers yet either, they were supposed to be mailed to me, and now the pet store isn't returning my calls. JERKS! A big red flag is the fact that she wouldn't let you see where the puppy was raised, or see the parents. She might be a broker:eek:! It's so sad that some people use little lives to make money:mad: |
She looks like a Yorkies . With all the wanna be breeders on the market , It is not surprising to see this question popping up almost all the times . |

Looks like YORKIE to me, and a very pretty one. Love her coloring! Why not go to the petstore in person and demand her papers. They cant just ignore you if you are in there face. LOL! Good Luck |
She looks like a yorkie . Breeders should be more aware of the standard . Ok some says its not important to them but this question would not have to come up if supposed to be breeders would take a good look at their Yorkies before breeding them , a good evaluation of these Yorkies for breeding purposes is extremely important . |

1 Attachment(s) She is adorable!! and she looks at Yorkie to me...my girl looks a little like her and at the beginning I had my doubts because her ears weren't up and she looked a little different than Timmy but because of this site I've learned that not all Yorkies look a like and not all have their ears up. I love my girl anyway and I wouldn't have it any other way. Yes she's got the floppy ears and she's 7 lbs but thats what makes her and I love it. Here is a pic of her. She is now 8 months old. |

She sure is adorable:)! I'm not really worried about the papers,but they were promised to me and I intend to get them! These people were really shifty and I had to go by there three times to get a check out of them for the ER vet reimbursement. They're really ***holes:mad: So I've decided to become a thorn in their side:P |
Oklahoma breeder I live in Oklahoma, could you pm me with the name and locality..I would like to avoid any similar situations for myself and or friends. I am curious, what excuse did they have for not having the papers when you picked up the baby? By the way she looks Yorkie to me but I believe some breeders are mixing in a little Silky now and then which makes them a bit bigger. I know you will love her but it is the principle!! |
she looks yorkie to me she is sooo Cute I love the floppies:) Becarefull with pestering them fo much they might get legal on you but you can beat them to it and have your lawyer write them a nice:mad: letter telling them you will . See if that gets some action. |

I've seen such a variation of coloring in yorkies here on YT...from dark red to black to silver. Quite a range! Your pup looks like a yorkie to me! Here's Topher the day he got his summer cut.
