Funniest & cutest habits? One of Lucy's is "Keep-Away". She takes a squeaky toy in her mouth, and wants me to chase her around the house and yard. Sometimes she will pause and act like she's going to let me take it from her, but then she will race away. Then she will stop, let me take it, and I'll throw it. She'll fetch it, and race away from me again. :animal36 |
Chewy follows me and if I stop he stops and when I walk he walks...he looks at me and does what I do! I fool around and take one step... he takes one step... I stop he stops... it is so cute and funny to watch and play....!!!!!:p |
Mine also loves to be chased, or to try to get one of the other dogs to try to take his toy away. He has no interest in playing by himself.:) |
Cash does this thing where he sits and stares at you with the tip of his tongue hanging out everytime he sees someone eating and he wants a piece. it's very tempting but everyone knows not to give him any human food. |
Rocky's finally learning to poop outside, (sat. morning (day after his nuetered) when my bf woke up he found poop on the floor, but none since then!). So anyways, everytime he poos in the grass, he stands there and wipes his back paws of in the grass, it's soo cute! |
Cutest Yorkie Habits When I take Daisy & Lucy for walks, and I decide it's time to go home, they lie down in the road and just refuse to move, if I try to get them to walk back toward our house. I thought they were stopping because they were tired, but I was wrong, because if we go in a direction away from home, they run like mad! :animal-pa |

Pepper loves to be chased.... When I start saying 'ooooooooo what do you have there' in that special tone, he grabs whatever is closest and runs. it doesn't come handy if I really have to grab something out of him though... :rolleyes: . He also reacts to 'chicken', he has a tiny squeaky chicken and 8 times of 10 brings that one when I ask 'chicken, bring me chicken'... i think it's the cutest... also, when he wants to play, he'll bring all his toys to me, one by one until I pick what to play with. |
I think Shylah has some Cat in her. She likes to hide behind something and gets all crouched down, just waiting for Starsky to come around and then she pounces on him. She is really sneaky. As for Starsky, I give my dogs treats when I am about to leave the house as a goodbye treat and I always tell them to be good. Starsky thinks if he doesn't eat his treat, I won't go. So he'll just turn his head from the treat and walk away, while the other two get theirs and run! He has learned that I still go, whether he eats his treat or not. :confused: |
Molly squats to pee but lifts one back leg. I don't know how she balances there like that. I think she is afraid of peeing on her foot. She also says please by lifting her font paw. So if you have a treat or a toy she will sit and say please. SO cute.:p |
Probably the funniest thing Lily does is "catch a ride on Rocco's(pom) tail. If he has something she wants or is just not paying her any attention, she grabs his big bushy tail, and that of course makes him start running, and she holds on for dear life! This also causes him to let go of what ever she wanted, so after a few rides up and down the hall on his tail she lets go and grabs the toy and runs. She always figures out a way to get what she wants, just like any woman!!LOL |
When I grab a few treats for Pete he instantly knows what Ive got, but usually I like to sit on the couch so I can be more at his level and then ask him to do tricks. Sometimes if Im taking too long trying to get comfy on the couch he'll frantically start doing every trick he knows. . . shake, kiss, play dead, sit, crawl, shake, kiss, play dead, sit, crawl and so on until I finally give him his treats.:p |
one of the cuttest things max does is, he will lay on his back and hold a toy in his hands playing with it, he looks just like a infant when he does it.. its waaay too cute!!! also when im fixing his breakfast in the morning he will "dance" around the kitchen on his backlegs until i put the bowl down, funny and cute LOL. |
Chico has a new thing. When we're getting ready to go for a walk, he'll run around and grab something to carry - today it was an empty water bottle. Then during our walk, instead of barking at something he'll shake whatever he is carrying as hard as he can. It's pretty funny to this little dog walking along then go into some head-shaking fit, then go on walking along again. By the way, once he picks something to carry, you can't change his mind with a better suggestion. |
Bear's cutest thing he does...is wake daddy up with tons and tons of puppy kisses. If I try to tear him away and make him give me kisses he gives me a few licks and then when I set him down he goes back to making out with daddy. Jealous.... He also loves to pretend like he's not interested anymore in playing with Tigger after having initiated the attack and will begin to walk away and then suddenly turn around and go for the kill. ha ha ha Tigger-Mommy and daddy will be trying to cuddle (when about to fall asleep) and I'll(mommy) try to move him He'll make his body really heavy and tense and kind of make a "hummmm" sound. It's adorable and if I do suceed in moving him he attempts to push himself inbetween us. and Bear loves loves loves taking everytoy out of the toybasket and strewing them about the house and backyard. eckkkkk how annoying. but I love them. |
do you know? My little Mimi has been in her forever home for two weeks. She is 3 1/2 years old. I am sure she is in an adjustment period and doesn't show signs of playfulness. When do you think she will come out of her shell? Anyone have similar experience? Would like to hear your stories.:) |

Kodak likes to play hide and seek under the covers while you use the ball under cover to make him squirm around. It's hilarious to watch him look for it under the covers. |
Baxter does the cutest thing when Snickers takes a toy from him. He makes noises like a growl/whine and it almost sounds like he's trying to talk. Then he points his little butt towards Snickers and backs into him. It's so cute!:aimeeyork |
Hope LOVES to try to make Tinker(my chi mix) like her... it is her main MISSION in life... she dances around her, licks her, and crawls beneath her, trying to spread the love.... Tootie is a THIEF! He steals everything and hides it IN MY BED.. I will go in my room and find brushes, socks, toys, bowls... you name it, if he can pick it up, its HIS... LOL |
Siu Pao has a funny habit. When daddy sits on the floor and lean on the couch, Siu Pao jumps up on the couch and then proceed to put his paw on daddy's head and starts digging. He is not merely just putting his paw there. He is seriously digging LOL. I always say to my hubby, "You have too many nuts in there.Maybe that is why he digs your head!" hehehe I get a good laugh out of it! |

Every morning Cali walks over my head, kisses me and then goes under the covers and I have to put my hand under the covers and she just rests her head in my hand until Maya gets us up. |
PK is neither cute or funny: when I'm trying to watch a movie PK picks out his loudest squeak toy (the walrus) and jumps on the couch and squeaks it nonstop against my leg. NONSTOP. If I manage to ignore him he'll jump onto my lap and push the toy against my face and squeak it. This usually results in him being crated for the rest of the movie. |
Every night at bedtime, as soon as we get into bed, Gracie does this happy dance/roll kind of thing. She rolls, and squeaks, and snuggles until she is tight in my left arm pit. Some nights there is a lot of thrashing about to find that just perfect position! Once she is there, that's it for the night, she does not budge. |
Monster has some funny moves. Whenever he is trying to get daddy to play with him, he'll plant his front paws on the floor and GLUE them there, and growl (just a little, it sounds like a wind up mechanical toy) but his butt and back paws will be writhing back and forth and he'll be looking at daddy like "Yeah, yeah...you think YOU'RE tough?" Also, what is really cute, fiance always has to go to work first, so when he gives me kisses goodbye in the morning Monster will always get up and start licking our cheeks. He wants to say bye-bye to daddy too! |
we have only had maggie for 5 days and we are learning so much about her. The cutest thing I have seen so far is when she needs to go to the bathroom she will "shadow box" herself. she will turn around in circles a thousand times and get on her back feet and box the air. then when she is done and I am praising her, she will do a little victory dance...running around in circles and jumping around. I love it. another thing she does is grab something 12 times her size and drag it around the house tripping over it constantly. I just laugh so hard. :p |
Funny Yorkie Habits Lucy and Daisy are very reliable alarm clocks, with their morning routine. Lucy sits by my head and starts trying to lick my nose, and Daisy climbs on my stomach and lays down. They only do this in the morning, no other time! |
My Daisy is also an alarm clock, when she thinks its time for me to wake up, she barks at me and gets me up. But the cutest thing she does is when its bedtime, we get settled in and she goes and makes her last check around the room you know, to make sure everything is ok. Then she comes and gives me a lick on my nose or cheek as if giving me a kiss goodnight, she does this just about everynight....my husband thinks its the cutest thing and he cant belive she does that....lol he's like .."If I didnt see it, I wouldn't believe it...":p |
When I'm on the computer she comes and slaps her paw on my foot and tilts her head and whines for her spot(my lap) It melts my heart. She also is only 13 weeks old and can fetch a ball like no other lol |
