My Boy decides he is now a WATERDOG!!! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I don't know what got in to him!

After he came back from his first time bath by the groomers, he LOVES water!!! I mean he is crazy about water!!! He plays with his water bowl and wet my carpet! He also plays with his urine although they are being absorb quickly so he digs his litter box right after he pees!!! On top of that, he jumps in to my bathtub when I take bath! And...jumps in to the kitchen sink from the couch if I have unwashed dishes with water in it!!! I am going nuts if he continues his crazy water craving!

Is it just a puppy phase????

aww lol how cute think of it this way..you wont have a problem when its his bath time

I don't know if its a puppy phase

maybe as he gets older he'll calm down a bit more I know Lillian has.

hahahah - My Chanel can tell you it's no puppy phase for her she LOVES LOVES LOVES the water - go see !!

and when she was little - she'd jump in the tub all by herself she'd get so excited about her baths...she even gets her own 'towel' when it's play time in the yard -

so all I can say is let him have fun ! it's so cute watching Chanel that I usually let her play everyday when it's hot outside ...she loves it THAT much -

How cute is this???!!! I think that is wonderful! My Mojo hates the water!!! He likes to be in the rain, but not a bath....crazy YORKIES!!!!

hahahah..the first picture is sooo cute!!! She is smiling!! I wish I have a yard but I don't. Maybe I'll just let him join me for a bath when he jumps in to the tub but bathing everyday for a Yorkie is it good for their coat?

Mind don't mind their bath, but I wish they loved water as much as yours!!! Izzie is the only one who loves to play in her water bowl.

I have a water obsessed puppy too!

He likes to rest and sleep right next to his water bowl as if its going to run away from him. He plays in the water bowl, wants to be put in the tub right after I have gotten out and loves to watch the water in the toliet flush. The toliet thing is becoming a problem though because while I am doing my , ummmm business, he puts his paws up on my rear like he wants me to get up so he can see the water. I do have a small decorative pond in my back yard and so far he has only dove off into it once!

hahahahaha - Cidney you're in Sugar Land ? I just moved from there a few years ago and my bro lives there now - I'm out there all the time

and Potter - ONE summer she got a little itchy - but I since use CC Systems and her coat looks beautiful - and no itchies - there is something about CC Shampoo and conditioners that is gentle enough for everyday ...I don't ADVISE it - but I could never say no to my baby's face when she wants to go 'Catch some Air''

This was the pic I entered in the big Dogster Contest last year - she beat out a bunch of Border Collies - but I think my buddies here gave her a little boost with the votes

Cozy loves to take showers. If someone is taking a shower she just has to be in the shower with them. If they don't let her in she will cry bloody murder until the person let her in.
