That is great. Did you get any nice clothes for your baby??? Everytime i get to go it seems they are out of the size I need. They do have a great pet section. A lot of nice clothes and there is a car seat there that I need to get sometime. Val |

We take our three tiny yorkies on vacation to Gatlinburg Tennesse twice a year. They go into every store and mall there. I do have to watch Me-Me because of her big mouth when kids run up to the stroller. Once we were in a crystal store and this lady with a hat bent over in front of the stroller. Me-Me got spoked at her hat and let out a tirant. I thought the lady was going to drop the expensive crystal she was holding. It was kind of funny...unless I have to pay. lol |
My boyfriend and I take Pete everywhere with us as long as its not a restaurant or grocery store. Nobodys ever said anything to us. . . could this have something to do with my boyfriend being in a wheelchair:p heehee. I think everyone assumes since he's in a wheelchair his dog must be a service dog which is ok by me. . . ssshhh dont tell, our little secret:) |
Our Target doesn't allow pets either. They are so un pet friendly.........lol |
I have never had a problem with Target. One Walmart near me ask me not to bring my yorkie back into the store after I checked out. I have taken her to clothing stores, warehouse stores, you name it she has probably been there. I have even taken her to college classes with me. |
Shoot..........around here, places are soooooo UN-pet friendly!! When Mojo was just bought, he was soo tiny and we carried him into Wal-Mart and the door greeter made us leave. And we even tried a gas station, pumpled gas and carried him in and the lady made us leave (she was just a worker there)....at the same gas station the week before, my MIL had Mojo and took him in and the owner was working and he didn't care. Anyway, we don't try anymore! So sad!!! Although, in one of the tourist towns (Eureka Springs) we take him everywhere.......but that town is open to everything! We even took him into an outdoor bistro and the owner would come out and play w/ him (course he was on my lap sleeping most of the time). I met a lady a few years back at a green house......she had a very pregnant Yorkie and said that she no longer goes anywhere they she is not allowed to take her girl w/ her. Boy, I wonder if she gets out much?? I mean really??!! In my area, that would narrow down where you could go greatly!!! I understand how it isn't far for the big dog owners, but w/ us now having three big dogs, I don't think I would want to take them everywhere I went...just not as conveinent like it is with Mojo. Plus, if the little gogs never touch the ground or anything, what does it hurt? |
They don't allow bell ringers outside of it at Christmas. I doubt if they'll allow our furbabies inside. |
I've never tried bringing Teddy into Target, as much as I'd like to. On an up note, though, I brought him into both Borders and Barnes & Noble (in his purse/carrier and also in my arms) and everybody loved him! The cashiers were totally cool with it, just suggested I might want to stay out of the cafe area. We took him to Office Max and Office Depot in his purse/bag and no one said anything.:aimeeyork :) |
I take Phoebe EVERYWHERE, including Target. I have never gotten caught. She is very quiet and doesn't move. Sometimes a customer will see her through her ventilation and ask if there is a puppy in there, etc. but I have never gotten caught. DH even takes her places in her carrier when I'm not around. We don't do restaurants tho. Glad your Target experience went well. |
I've been to a Target with Bengi and nobody said anything. Then I went to another one and they asked me to leave :( |
I noticed the Target near me recently put up the \'no dogs allowed\' stickers on the doors. I haven\'t seen the signs at Home Depot yet - Jaxon has gone there tons of times. |
