I did another bow. (ok 2 more but one is in the trash)

Anyway this one is better, but I don't think I like making them. I'll just stick to buying em...

It's a shame you don't enjoy making them- you're GREAT at it!

Thank you, I am a bit of a perfectionist and the bows come out lopsided and I get to stressed, so I'll just buy them.

I started years ago about 30 making bows for show and then progressed into sell them to wholesalers. I made a lot of money off making bows. When I started back showing about 5 years ago I started making bows again. Some for the wholesalers and some for my handler. I have a rather big supply of them , I try and keep about 1,000 made up at a time. I like to make them sometimes but I would hate to have to do it every day. So my bows are for the women I show with in my area and my friends and still my Handler and friend Tim Reese.

Maybe if I can figure out how to keep them from coming out lopsided I would keep doing them, but I definately wouldn't sell them...

I make a piece of light weight card board the size of the bow and I make a line down the middle of the card board . then I hold the card board on top of the ribbon and start the stiching on the line of the card board. When I reach the far side of the ribbon I make sure it is still lined up with the line. Does this make sense??? I use the same small piece of card board all the time.

Every one will come out perfect.

I also have pieces of card board cut to make sure I have the right length of ribbon for the bow. If this is all to confusing I may be able to take some pictures for you.

Is that beads, the clear things? Did you sew them on? I think it looks great! We are our worse critics!

I used to make bows and sell them but I hated making them too. So I just buy them :p

I cheat!:p I buy cutesey little infant bows, then cut them off the band they come on and hot glue them onto tiny barettes. Mine come out centered all the time:D
