Why do I look??? The guy who carved our tree has a pair of Yorkies, they had 4 baby girls 7 weeks ago so today I went over to look. What the heck is wrong with me?? I'm just torturing myself! I have all I can handle with the boyz and their 'issues'...I don't need to ad another one to the mix. But, the girls are so darned cuuuute and I want one...they're so little and I just know that runt needs me! Oh why do I do this? I need help..... |
honestly... would she be a bad thing to add to your family?? years down the road you would say... what did we ever do without her... i say go for it... the runt needs someone who knows what they are doing... that's you! but tha'ts just my opinion... nothing like a little girl :) |
hahahaha marcerella02 ...that's really talking her out of it lol - I agree - you have 2 little dolls - why not get a little Girl doll ? |
If it were just me I'd have a house full but my husband isn't as willing to share our home with a herd of Yorkies! The girls are in a wonderful, loving home with their breeder, they're well cared for and you should see the puppy package she's put together for them when they leave...too much! But, that little runt is feisty...she growled at me and chewed on my finger with her little tiny teeth...what a doll! They'll be ready around Christmas...maybe I should put her on my list?? |

and three isn't a HERD ! it's a trio:D |
I would never discourage anyone from perhaps having a little "angel brat" like our Toto [girl]! However, I would make certain that this is really, really what I wanted because "angel brat's" require lots and lots of attention!! I could never in a million years handle two! :p BTW .... not to appear stupid, but you said "the guy that carved your tree"?? |
lol.. she asked our opinions... lol.. and that was mine! every house needs a little girl :p let us know what you decide! |

Do what I did start putting bows on your boys. I did that with Chachi and one month later my Husband let me have a girl. I really love Chachi but I also love having a girl that I can put in dresses and bows. |

Yes, he carved our tree. We had a huge oak tree growing through our deck at the front door but it was dead so we had to take it down. What a production that was! Anyway, we left the bottom 12 or 15 feet and had it carved into a big brown bear stanging on rocks with a squirrel, owl and turtle carved into the rocks below him. It's really cool.,,I posted pictures in a thread when it was finished. We went to Cracker Barrel and bought him a huge Santa hat the other day...might as well have fun with him, right? |

and I think you got something going with the bows - why NOT wear a little bow on your head ??? dress the boys up too - Then when your husband thinks you've SO lost your mind....tell him when you get a little girl SHE can wear the bows - till then they stay ! TREE Pictures are where ??? can you link us up ??? |
O.k...here you go...I hope this works! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55921 |
This is the Voice of Reason speaking: Back away from the Yorkies:) |
Cali is the first time I have had 2 dogs at the same time and I love it. Now I want another Yorkie!!! I wish I had gotten more years ago. You will know if this is right for you. |

Damn, thats some awsome carving there!! Yea, that bear DOES need that Santa hat!! Got to have a santa hat on him this season. I'd love to have a house full of yorkies, but right now, have my hands full trying to potty train my 2ond one! I'd dearly love to breed them actually, but I don't know enough about breeding. There is a lot in breeding, that you can't actually get from a board. And I know it'd kill me to loose a pup, much less the mother. |
This is the voice of a yorkie lover "go for it":D :yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump: I did the same thing with Bear, I went to look at my breeders puppies and there sit Bear, I was going to look at a girl....but when they steal your heart its hard to say no, I said no for about 3 weeks when I went to go pick up the little girl, and came home with Bear.... So you see no reasoning behind it they just grab your heart and your their slave... |
Just go and get it. Maybe your hubby won't notice. He's a guy, they never notice anything. |
A few years ago we bought a female Yorkie as a companion to our male. Come to find out she was already pregnant and they didn't know it...what a nightmare that was! She had 2 pups, one large and one very tiny. She had the second one when I left the room, she tried to cut the cord and things got ugly. We ended up taking an emergency trip to the vet on a Sunday afternoon right in the middle of their open house for the new building. The tiny pup didn't make it and that was enough 'breeding' for me! I want a little girl strictly for a pet. I want a Yorkie with little bows in her hair...but, with my luck I'd get a tomboy and she'd just rip them out and go wrestle with the boyz! |

Lexie is my little girl-girl, she loves the bows and all the cutie things, but since Bear came I can't get them in her hair cause he will pull them out of her hair.....:p |

First of all, my vote is YES for a little girl! I have a female named Riley. She's great. She's my girly-girl. Second, the craving is a great idea. I'm surprised you didn't have him carve a yorkie. |
get her get her get her ...not helping huh! |
