I'm crying just reading the posts on this thread. I can't bear to think about losing my little one and my heart just breaks when I know someone has gone through this awful ordeal. I also want to express my sympathy to those of you who have lost a beloved pet. I know it is crushing pain. We all love you. |
I can't read these posts either...I agree with Villette but, I just can't do it...I just put myself in their place and it just breaks my heart...I feel so bad when someone posts they lost a furbaby...and I am sorry....I just can't do it. I'm so glad Shana posted this thread..she said everything that I feel.. |
I know exactly what you mean too, but I do go there to give my support and love to these poor people who lost their babies....everyone in my house knows when I go to that thread because they can hear me sobbing from the computer. It is just so horrible, and I cant imagine going through this myself....Love and prayers to all who have lost their babies.... |
Thanks for posting this here......I know what you mean! I have been in that thread a few times, but I try to stay away from it....it is very heartbreaking! For everyone who has ever lost a beloved furbaby....I'm sorry for your loss and you are in our thoughts and prayers! |
The first time I went to that thread, it tore me apart. So I avoided it. But then I thought about why it is a part of YT. It's not about how much it makes me cry or how I feel about the things that happen, it's about the families that have to live thru the tragedies and losses. They need to know that people understand how much the loss of a pet can devastate someone. So this thread is to help them get thru the grief and begin healing. We are a family here, and family is what it's all about. I know that when the time comes that I will be faced with starting a thread in this forum, I will be asking for the comfort and support that the members here have shown in the past. Thank you all for being here when you were needed. |
I always feel so sad and at times I have cried when I go in this section. I always post though because I feel like the OP must need support if they posted their exerience there |
it is very sad to go there and read, I cry every darn time, but until you can relate, you just have no understanding, it's the worst feeling in the world. |
I haven't been able to do it either Shana. I have tried but I get sick. I feel so bad for not posting. I know I need to post my support but it is hard. I think it was easier before I lost my first yorkie, but now it really does make me sick. I really am sorry to everyone who has ever lost a furbaby, it is so hard... |
I know what you guys mean. I can't read the "In Memory of" section either. I put a dog to sleep a little over a year ago - and I am still not over that (in my heart). And - now I just read about Dragonfly's "little Lily." That really breaks my heart. I feel so sorry for her and for little Lily too. It's just about as sad and heartbreaking as things can get. Sweet thread!! I also dread going to that section, but i do try to reply to a new post when i see it. Those people need our support guys, and it can happen to any one of us... I lost my first yorkie 9 years ago, and i'm still not over her... i still cry for her and i still miss her everyday, so i made a thread in that section last year, the people that answered my post understand the pain, and just knowing that there are people out there that support us, really helps us heal. I DO understand it's difficult, and it makes us cry, but think of it, we all cry together because we care for each other and all these babies. We are all here for each other, in good and bad times!! ;) |
