She is sweet as pie!! Darla is really scruffy looking and her hair wont grow anymore..she is 7 1/2 months old now... Dawn |
awww...she's so sweet. What a little cutie pie. I think they're just like kids and go through different stages. Topher went through a stage at that age when his hair went every which way...lol...but cute nonetheless. She's darling. |

I think she is a cute puppy. I would like to be honest and a 5 months even if she had the thin slower growing coat it should till be more full than what she shows. I hope she turns out they way you so desire. She is adorable though. |
That pup is adorable! Is she purebred? What a unique look. I love it. |
I think she's gorgeous. If you don't want her, just send her my way.:) |
Thanks to all!!! I think she is cute, don't get me wrong but i am interested in showing/breeding i have others that have issues (faults) but i was just wondering if i got the wrong coat for showing. i have read avoid the fluffy puppy but in my eyes all mine were a bit fluffy when i got them and i have 2 with perfect silk coats and one with a soft coat,i have never seen a pup with this type hair at this small age it is sparse and just weird loking i was wondering if it could have been caused by the previous owner, because the top half of her looks like she has been cut down and the back half has some nicer thin silky hair that is about an inch and a half long. could it be from wearing pet clothes? |

Awww...she's adorable. So so cute. The offer to take her still stands...seriously...that little one looks like such a sensitive soul. Look at those eyes! She's a darling girl. :D ~Marly |
2 Attachment(s) She is adorable and don't worry about her coat, that's only window dressing. She reminds me of Sissy. As a pup, as her brothers and sisters kept getting lots of beautiful hair and she still looked like a bald rag muffin. We joked about how ugly she was and no one would want her expect for us. She looked like she was all ears. She really didn't start to develope her coat until after she was a couple of months old and it's still on the short and thin side.........like her grandmother. She's now one of the prettiest ones even though her hair is much shorter than everyone else. The first picture is when she was not quite a year old. The second is how she looks now. She probably isn't show quality but if you don't want your beautiful girl, I'll be more than happy to take her off your hands. |
Well, I'll validate your concerns! :D To answer your question, the coat does seem a little sparce, her nose looks a little long for showing, and her topline isn't straight?? Maybe someone who actually shows will come along and correct me if I'm wrong, but to me she def. doesn't look show quality, or appropriate for breeding for show potentials. Sorry! She DOES look very sweet, and I LOVE her cute little face!!!! |
If this is true then i will be putting her up for sale to a pet home, i know i won't be able to get out of her what i paid but do you think i could get at least $800 for her she is the perfect pocket pup (3.5 lbs) i was told she won't grow much more she is 5 mths old |
