| Max's pee smells real bad max has only one problem as far as I can see,his urine stinks!!He is 100% perfect in every other sense.I always know where he has peed even outside,it is so strong smelling.I try to keep the hair around his penis short and along his sides but even after a bath after 1 or 2 wee's he stinks again. If I pick him up my hands stink.Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can add to his food or water. No problem with my other dogs.I feed him purina dry food.He is such a cute guy but get near him and he stinks |

| Have you brought this up to the vet? It shouldn't smell too bad unless there is an infection of some sort.

| is it a strong, pungent smell? if so, then it's probably a small strain of e-coli. my MIL's chihuahua had the same problem and that's what he was diagnosed with. |

| I would also suspect an infection with foul smelling urine. A simple inexpensive urine test will let you know. |

| Just curious, is he neutered? Mo had an odor to him too until I got him neutered. He doesn't smell like that at all now. But I know what you are talking about.
