As some of you may or may not know..I am getting a little Morkie girl in 6 weeks. Please help me from going crazy waiting by posting pics of your Morkies at all ages and stages here!! Tell me what is different about your Morkie and Yorkie!! Anything Morkie...post here!! Pleeeeease the wait is going to absolutely KILL me!!

You'll get through it...but here is some pics for you...
I have a Morkie (Cooper) and a Yorkie (Carley). Cooper was a breeze to housetrain, Carley not so much. Cooper is my joy, but is a stubborn little monkey!! I always say it's a good thing Cooper came along first, cause Carley is much more laid back than my Coop...but we wouldn't have him any other way!! He is bigger than Carley, weighing in at 10 lbs of solid muscle...he looks mostly like a yorkie, but his hair on top is CURLY!! It is soooo cute. When we have them out, Cooper gets the most attention...everyone asking what kind of dog he is. Here is some baby pics and some more recent. Congrats on your new baby....puppies are soooo exciting!!!

What a cutie pie Cooper was and still is! I had no idea he was a morkie. I thought he was full yorkie!

Maybe Hope will come along and teach Reece a thing or two lol...he is much harder to housebreak than Darla was and he is just so stubborn. Maybe its a male thing?

What is Coopers coat like? The breeder whom I am getting Hope from says that Morkies coats are different from Yorkies...better or worse?? Cooper is an awesome colour!! Hope is very black right now with the typical yorkie markings and white under her belly and on her feet I think..her ears are so teeny tiny..she reminds me of my daughters pet mouse lol..

Piper has ALWAYS stolen my heart..she is just so cute!! What a pretty young lady she has evolved into!! I could look at pics of her all day!! Thanks!

Thanks for all the nice comments on Cooper! Cooper does have a more "cottony" coat. He can matt easily if I don't stay on top of it...that is where the Cowboy Magic comes in.
On the housebreaking thing....that is why I got a Morkie. I had always wanted a Yorkie, but was told time after time how hard they were to housetrain. I had a couple people tell me to get a mix, they were easier. In Cooper's case it held to be true, he was such a breeze!! But, now I think it isn't totally true and I just got lucky with Cooper, LOL!!
I know you can't wait to get Hope, and I can't wait to see pictures of her!!

Congratulations on getting a Morkie, you'll loving her. These pictured are girls, and they are precious. So much fun. Easy to potty train. Mom had them pee pad trained at 6 weeks. Then I took mom out during weaning and they digressed. Now they're blanket trained and they chewed their pee pad lol

PS as you can tell they have very soft bellies

Whether or not their hair tangles depends on the texture of their hair. Max has really soft thick hair and it grows long and curly. His hair tangles alot so he has a short cut. Gizmo has wiry hair and her hair has not grown that long yet but it doesn't tangle and it is thin and very easy to comb out.

Now Chewy, his hair is wiry and thick and parts of it are curly and it is already getting long.

Here is a picture of Chewy and Gizmo is in my avatar. I will find ya'll a picture of Max.

Awwwwww sooooooooooo cute!! How old is he in that photo? Is Max a morkie too?? Lucky you to have three of 'em!! This is going to be a loooooooooooong 6 weeks!!

Our puppy is Chewy, Willow already posted his pic. ;) She's been great with sending us lots of pics of him. I love the white coat on his chest. I hope it stays that way. :)

Peanut was 7 pounds till last year and I guess its because he has gotten older and doesn't romp around like he use too...He weighs 10 pounds now....:)

I bet he keeps his white chest..my little Hope has a white chest too and I hope she keeps it..its hard to tell at 9 days though..chewy is ADORABLE!!

Aww, all of your guys' morkies are so adorable!!! I just love morkies!!
It is so interesting that some of them look just like little yorkies and others look so different and some even look like little biewers.

Pipersmommy, I have always loved seeing pictures of your morkie.

Just out of curiosity, for those of you who have posted pictures of your morkies, can you tell me which parent was the maltese and which parent was the yorkie?? Just thought it would be interesting to see if their is a pattern being followed like maybe if they have a yorkie dad they look more like yorkies or if they have a maltese dad they look more like a maltese or a morkie. Just curious...

I dont have pictures to post just yet. But my little Hope looks like a yorkie with some white spashed in on her chest and legs. Her mom is a Maltese and her dad is the yorkie..great question, and I cant wait to hear everyone elses response!!
