I'd been keeping dog food in a baggie, using it for treats. Usually always have 1 in the pocket of whatever pants I'm wearing.

So you can probably guess what I did! Yea, living alone, I never check pockets now.

Opened the washer up after it got through, and saw pieces of dog food all over. OMG.

I need to go to Oz and get a brain!

Yea...I've done that too.. only the "small bites" swell up BIG in the washer. I even accused Emma of pooping in the laundry, only to find out it was food!

It could be worse than that I chew gum all the time and have forgot about checking pockets too...Thats fun getting out of machine & clothes.....

I don't know which is worse, the dog food, or itty bitty tiny pieces of KLEENEX that have fallen out of your hubbys pockets and have gotten ALL over the clothes, and all inside the washing machine

ESPECIALLY when it happens and there is nothing but BLACK clothes in the washer ....that makes it even MORE fun!

WHY oh WHY doesn't my hubby listen when I tell him to take whatever is in his pockets OUT?

........I guess the same reason I forget to check to see if there is anything in them to begin with

.....oops.

lol I swear I usually do remember to check, but sometimes I am just having one of those days!

Although I don't know why it is up to ME to check HIS pockets anyway???

Ok sorry, I got a little side tracked there...I guess I needed to do a little ranting because this just happened not too long ago LOL
