My sweet lil babydoll (see below) Kinzi just got caught
chewing on my mahogany table leg!! eeeeeeeek :eek:
Since she is about 75% potty trained, I don't give her much freedom...
so she was obviously going to take advantage of the situation!!! :doghouse:
I guess all her chew toys just don't taste the same!!!!

Jewels never destroyed anything. She is a good girl. My Chachi on the other hand chewed up an xbox cord, an oriental rug, a hole in my carpet and shoes. He never destroys things now but was a terror as a puppy

When Emma was a young puppy, she chewed up two pairs of flip-flops-luckily they were only the $10 kind, a playstation controller (husband was NOT happy about that!), and my review/raise papers from work that I'm supposed to hold onto and resubmit with my "goals" to my boss! That was hard to explain that truly, my dog DID eat my homework!

I think you must be mistaken. There is no way that precious baby would do such a thing. That face is too sweet.

When Lanny was a wee little yorkie boy -- he decided to chew the corners off his mommies brand new oak bedroom suite. When he was all done with that he ripped off the dust cover -- that cheeze cloth thing that is under the bed -- to make himself a little cave.

I forgot to add, she chewed thru my cell phone charger cord as well.
They know they have it made, when they look up with that innocent lil face!!! :D
Altho her teeth are like lil razors, I caught her before she damaged the table...
but it got me to thinking...

Im not really sure if this is true or not but I've heard if you keep all your dogs toys down at once he or she will get tired of them and start looking for new things to chew on. Try to rotate the toys weekly and see if that helps!

The first time i let brambles in our bedroom, he decided to inspect the inside of my bottom drawer, which i thought was so cute so i let him carry on as i made the bed , when i finished i turned round to see him happily munching away on my Marrage certificate!!!!

Kizzy chewed on lots of thing when she was smaller, but never destroyed anything. Maggie has never been bad about chewing things. But she and kizzy together have finally managed to chew up the little cloth frizby. It had this heavy rope ran thru the nylon insert (I'm sure ya know the kind) and they actually just got the rope frayed to peices the last 2 days.

Katie, our first yorkie, never chewed anything except her toys. Gage, our little rescue, has not chewed anything in the year and half we've had him except his toys. Gabby, on the other hand, was the "chewer from hell"!!! She chewed a 2-3 foot in diameter hole in my linoleum floor underneath the table!!!! Hubby was NOT happy about that and threatened to find her a new home himself if I didn't do something (she is, despite her cuddling up to him, my baby). So, I bought a crate and we kept her crated when we weren't home - that was the ONLY thing that saved her and kept her in our home. I often wonder if she remembers that and all her cuddling is really just sucking up to daddy for what she did!

Sadie chewed my Mom's hearing aid!!! TO PIECES!! My Mom(who adores Sadie) said it was her fault (my mom's) because she left it on the coffe table next to her chair..
Hubby and I went out one night and Sadie chewed his leather belt...nothing expensive and he can still wear it but you can see little tear marks where her little teeth kept scraping.

OH ya! I left my crotchting out (couldn't take Sadie with us) and when I came home there was yarn ALL over the family room...Sadie is just sitting there like "I didn't do it!"

My Tucker, when I had him, destroyed a $300 bebe skirt suit (he chewed the zipper off the skirt and stredded one of the sleeves on the jacket), he chewed the leather bow off of one of my jimmy choo's and on a regular basis would bury his head in my carpet and rip out chunks of it. LOL! Good times:(

oh I take that back. Kizzy will chew on maggies bows once she gets them out of her hair or her own bows. But has only torn two up. those were the cheapies with just bows and rubber bands. no barrettes. she will spit them out once I see her and tell her to or just sit there and hold it in her mouth till I take it out of her mouth. I've never caught maggie chewing on one but they both fight to get the others bow out.

Chico chewed the plug completely off my laptop power cord. So husband went on E-bay and ended up wth 2. Well, he chewed up both of those! So now we have one patched up with electrical tape that we guard with our lives. And of course, all my shoes have some part of them chewed on. Gotta love him!

K.C. chewed the sleeve of a $300.00 leather jacket. What can I say he has good taste! Also, Kelsey Bear chewed through my laptop power cord. Luckily, with some splicing and electrical tape I was able to save that, but so much for the leather jacket!

My first yorkie, Wimpy, once chewed/licked the Christmas postage stamps that my mom was going to put on the Christmas cards. She had left them on a table in the living room and when she got home, his face and legs were covered in sticky stamps. He was busted! :animal-pa

We recently moved into a new double wide mobile home with sliding glass doors. There are vertical blinds on the door with a plastic chain at the bottom. Guess what Gypsy decided to chew! Hubby NOT happy a bit. Tore the chain thing to pieces where it connects to the blind.
She also chewed up a cell phone charger cord.
She just recently started chewing things and she is 9 months old.

My goal is to get my dog to stop eating paper.

My guys ate a roll of stamps too. That was an expensive snack.

my baby put teeth marks in my gucci boots...its so sad to because i think its funny prolly only because i have to show you it to see it oh well its only boots

Muffin dethreaded our carpet at an outside corner for about a half-inch. Kacee chewed a small hole in the sheetrock in the hallway. That was all either of them ever did.:D

When Britney was a puppy she chewed a laptop connection cord and a very expensive alligator leather belt. So far, Brooklyn has chewed TWO cell phone chargers. :rolleyes:

Bear just custom designed my new 300+ glasses....:p

I bought a Yorkie this past month and he chew up my daughter's year book.

I have had at least 3 computer cords chewed and 2 headphone cords to the computer. Nothing of extreme cost....but i agree with the rotate the toys theory. I have one dog that can kill a toy a day.....honest, the squeaker type toys.

Coco once chewed up my boyfriends very very very expensive Invisalign retainers :eek: But I knew my man was a keeper when he laughed it off :D I thought he was going to blow a fuse, but he was laughing about it :rolleyes:

My pup Jordan chewed through my boyfriend's cell charger and his favorite brand of shoes...Jordans. Keep in mind that Jordans are always over 100 dollars and my boyfriend is still confused on how Jordan can ruin shoes that he was named after lol :p

I supposed carpets are the highest priced item that these little dogs can damage --- but a lot of other things can add up.

My Murphy ate his registration papers - so, he's not registered. (this saved me money).

He ate two rebate sales slips - (Total $40.00)

He ate my tax return (4 hours of work!!!!!)

I do medical transcription (he ate the cord on my foot pedal-- $89.00)

He has eaten at least two of his collars and one leash...

He has eaten the corners off a few books.

He ate an earring - (it was costume jewelry - so I didn't go after it).

He has certainly chewed up and ruined 100 pens and pencils......
and has torn up thousands of sheets of paper....

He ate a ballpoint pen and colored himself and the carpet.
He ate a yellow marker and colored himself and the carpet.

He has taken the stuffing out of a lot of bears!!

And - he has probably eaten and torn up a hundred rolls of toilet paper.

The list goes on........................(I can't even remember everything...)

But like a lot of other people mentioned - he really hasn't done much chewing since he was a puppy. But, isn't it surprising what they can do in only a couple of months?????

Kind of embarassing to discuss..but funny too-I couldn't find one of my bras...happened to be a very expensive and new one. It was driving me nuts for weeks. Then we changed around our bedroom, and what did I find under my dresser? The bra, a couple pairs of socks, some hair binders, twist-ties, misc. papers, wrappers, and underwear!!!

...but I KNOW my little Emma-Lou wouldn't have taken all of these things and hid them there...such a sweet, innocent face!:eek:
