| Eats everything in site!!! Hello everyone, I was just wondering if your guys furbabies eat everything in site...for example my Gizmo has one of those litte beds that are furry inside and zip and unzip incase of accidents...and well he loves biting the furry part and trys to eat and chew it all the time!! Also when i take him outside to run around he tries to eat the grass the leafs, paper!! basically anything that fits in his mouth....ive tried putting him on "time out" (a crib i have) because i know he hates it because he cant run around and play whenever he wants. and he still does it....Any suggestions?? Does your baby do this also??

| The time out wont really work you need to redirect him give him a real chew toy one okay to chew on. And if he chews on a no no object tell no and give him the chewable one then when he chews that praise him. Hope that helps. |

| mine does the same thing he likes to eat the "helicopter" seed things that fall from maple trees and he also like to chew on his litter pellets. I tried the redirecting approach but it hasn't worked. i may need to give it some more time. also, i read on some of the posts here that grannicks apple bitter when sprayed on furniture and stuff prevents them from chewing maybe you could try that for indoor stuff but it hasn't worked for me. Cash just grimaces and shutters then he keeps at it until he licks off all the bitterness and chews at it.

| My little furbabies eat everything, the cords to a coffee pot that was boxed, my floor cleaner cord, the corners of the door way, their crates, they tear up their little rugs. I took the tops off their crates so they use them as beds with rugs in them and they chew the corners. I really don't give them toys (plastic, rubber ) as they eat them too...........Bones ??? what kind ??? |

| Roxy eats everything, too. But she has never chewed on a cord, thank goodness. Actually, she has never chewed up anything she wasn't supposed to. Just whatever she finds on the floor or ground and any plants she can reach. But she has many chew toys that I keep all over the house for her. As for outside, everything is up for grabs, which is what she does. She grabs mouthsful of grass or weeds while she is running. She grazes like a cow most of the time. Her poop is dark green and stinks soooo bad, and after she has cleaned up the bird seed thrown out of the cage, she poops what looks like sesame seed coated hor-de-urves. She is also conneisour of fine cat poop . Good luck!

| Peanut does the same thing. When he goes outside all he wants to do is eat grass and sticks and bunny poop. Is this something that they grow out of? Peanut will be 5 months tommorrow. |

| I have.. He has a lot of chew toys ...and he literally walks around the house and looks for stuff to eat....even if he just ate....when i see him chewing on something hes not suppose to ...I take it out of his mouth and put it in his face and say NO..louder than my other words and he still does it...I will try that spray stuff maybe that will work.....i feel he does understand the word no because when he poops on the floor i say No lound and he runs the other way..i just feel hes being a little brat and wants to do whatever he wants.

| Our Maci loves to chew on things, but thankfully not on things she really shouldn't such as cords and furniture! However, she loves to eat grass, leaves, grasshoppers, worms (both alive and dead), paper blowing by, ...should I go on? It sounds like most all dogs will get into things that us humans think are gross, but that's all part of being a dog! Grossing out your owner! As long as she doesn't get into things that will harm her, I say whatever!
