Taylor is 6 1/2 months old and weighs in now at 10 lbs. I am not unhappy at all that he's turned out to be such a big boy. Just more to love. I sent a picture of Taylor playing by the pool with a ToyPedo toy. Taylor LOVES to swim. Our son is a jokester and loves doctoring pictures I send him. Check out this picture. When you click on it...click on the picture again and it comes in much clearer. (Be sure to read the caption underneat)

Man, the firewalls at work won't let me look at it. :( I'll just have to look at it when I get home.

Taylor sure looks like a giant in that picture. You will love the bigger Yorkies.
Just more to love and they have that Yorkie attutude which we all love.
I have a 13.5lbs male. He's something else.:aimeeyork

That is a very cute picture and caption. And I agree with 'Archie', you will love a bigger yorkie. Both of mine are supersized, and I never have to hover over them worrying about them getting hurt. They are tough and sturdy and act like yorkies in every sense. They are all the beautiful things that a yorkie is, only BIGGER! What more could we ask for? :aimeeyork

I love big Yorkies. :) I guess bigger they are, bigger is their heart!! :)

That's too cute! Bigger yorkies aren't that bad!;) I have a 11lber and he is so freaking cute, and hardy so he can take more bouncing around and being bounced around! I love hiim to pieces...even though he's bad sometimes!:rolleyes:

here is a couple of maggie and kizzy i made yesterday. Kizzy is 9.8 lbs. @ 8 months but she doesnt look all that big to me. Maggie might be close to 3 1/2 lbs by now not sure but their both in these. they hadnt been brushed soooooooo, thats ok too they got it good today. had company yesterday and was gone a while too.

I have 5 yorkies and they range from 3.5 to 13.5. This is my big baby girl 6 1/2 yr old and almost 13.5. She is a sweetheart and mommy to the others.

Our lil girl is 2 1/2 and weighs a lil over 10 lbs. I WISH she loved to swim, she HATES water! Bathtime is traumatizing, as is going to the groomers, or even just going to the pet store to get her nails done! We have been taking her in the pet store at random hoping it would help but not so far!
We get lots of compliments on her, though, as far at cuteness! Even from other yorkie owners, they have smaller yorkies but say she is cuter!:)

Indy was about the same size as yours at 6 1/2mos. He is now almost 2 and weighs in at 14.5lbs. He is an absolute love and a real mama's boy. I love that he got a little bigger because I have 2 big dogs and one grumpy Jack Russell. He has gotten pushed around alot and i don't worry about him as much because he's bigger.

We've had quite a few dogs since we've been married. (all have lived long lives) Taylor is unusual because he LOVES water! When we woulld give him a bath and he seemed to love it.... One day as my husband was getting into the shower and Taylor came racing in and my husband said... "Go ahead...get in" and to our shock he ran right in the shower. He doesn't mind rain and will run around our pool deck when it's raining. He has taken to our pool like a dolphin. We watch him carefully but he LOVES to swim. He is a little Mark Spitz! He's being neutered tomorrow, dew claws removed, and baby teeth removed and a chip implanted. I think that he is going to have to stay out of the pool for at least a week after this, maybe longer.... I will have to ask the vet. The only dog that I've ever known that loved water more than Taylor was our Golden Retreiver.
