| She swiped a bite of someone else's food!!! We went to a harvest festival today and I brought Tink. I basically carried her the whole time because of all the people almost stepping on her. Well someone walked by very close because it was crowded and she swiped a fry from their plate!! WHAT DO YOU SAY WHEN THAT HAPPENS!?? I was embarassed! |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | LOL! Just ask if they have any ketchup! All you can do is apologize profusely and count on them to understand. Maybe offer to buy them some more. Anyone with a sense of humor will just laugh. Reminds me of the time I took my now-deceased lab to a river where people were catching salmon. I looked over and he was PEEING on someone's salmon on shore. And the owner was staring at me aghast. I rinsed her fish off, apologizing the whole time, and got away as quickly as possible. In retrospect, I probably should have given them my salmon. After that, I became a more responsible lab owner and started leashing him in situations like that!

| I thought it was funny actually but apparently it was a man who really LIKED his food I got a very dirty look and he walked away in a disgusted huff before I could say much of anything. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | hahahaha !! Go girl !! All I can say is if he walked by teasing her with it close enough for her to swipe some - then hey - what are you going to do ? If she did that to my food I'd have let her have the whole plate and I'd go get a doggie bag |

| We went to a festival today too & I got a corn dog & lemonade. Since I had the leash in one hand and my corn dog in the other, I set my lemonade down. I looked down & Sadie was helping herself!! She thought that was some good stuff! I thought I had her far enough away from it, but I guess not. She only got one little sip before I realized what she was doing & got her away from it.
