First, don't panic. It may just be caused by stress from being in her new home. I assume you have an appointment for a vet check. I've read on other threads to try some cottage cheese or peanut butter, but not too much. I'd just have her checked asap to rule out things like worms, etc. Best of luck to you! |
Feed her chicken and rice for the diahrea |
hmmm... according to my breeder she was given an immune boost jap only, cuz she was to tiny n next week she will get her 1st vacine.... i'm feeding her with lamb n rice, bought from the breeder as well..... thanks alot :) really appreciate it... |
hmmm cottage cheese n peanut butter.... wow.... i thought puppies or any dog are not allowed to be feed on human foods? |
uhh.... ya... i'm a new user here too... i wanna share tara's video clip but i couldn't upload to the forum.... wht should i do??? |
PM red98vette and I'm sure she'll be glad to help you. She just helped me make my avatar and it's awesome. Yes, usually they recommend not feeding dogs human food, but I think in this case they make an exception. |
thanks for your advice, well this morning itself i've send her back to my breeder. According to him it's because the food she had..... now she getting better after the medication n hope she will get well soon.... cant wait to take her back home again, i miss her alot |
Go with the boiled skinless chicken and cooked white rice. If she is eating and drinking for you and not acting lethargic (tired, sad, lifeless) you could wait 24 hours, but I wouldn't let it go more than that, especially since she should go in for a check up anyway since you just got her. I say no to the peanut butter and cottage cheese. I would be trying to see if I could get in to see a vet today. Take a stool sample to be checked. Wait until she is 100% well before getting any vaccines and make sure they only give her the vaccine for distemper, parvo, parainfluenza and adenovirus 2 - NO LEPTO, NO CORONA. |
gosh... there's so many things more to learn from all of you here.... i just hope everything the best for my little tara. last night i've stayed up the whole night watching her make sure she is alright, well she is still eating n drinking properly n yet very active ... just tht she's having watery poos.... immediately this morning i send her back to my breeder cuz i was going to have my final exam today as well.... gosh can u imagine tht the stress n worry i am having for her n my studies.... but thanks god she is getting better.... if this happen again i'll try the skinless chicken cooked with white rice.... now she is having lamb n rice from nutro and was recommended by my breeder.... we found out tht it was a mistake made by my breeder's helper where he fed her with other brand type of dog food when i took tara back i fed her with nutro tht's y she is having this symtoms. anywhere really a big thanks to u lacy's mom.... for telling me which jap i should give to my baby tara... i didn't know wht to give her too.... hopefully everything goes smoothly |
