Where do you bath your baby? Just wanted to know where everyone bath their Yorkies? bathtub or kitchen sink or toilet sink? Or anyone here bought mobile dog baths for their dogs? |
Kitchen sink!!! It is easy to use since I don't have to bend over and there is a sprayer so I can control where the water goes. Our kitchen sink is a double one and Sissy likes to perch her front paws on the dividing part of the sink. |
I stick mine in the shower. I have a long hose nozzle and it works wonders for us. |
I bathe mine in my big garden tub ... so that they cannot jump out. I tried the kitchen sink when they were little but ended up getting water everywhere. The bathtub works better for me. It is a little hard on your back if you have 4 to bathe like me but I love it when they are all clean and smell good. |
Mine go in the bathtub - at 16 pounds, Gabby is too big for the kitchen sink. Although Gage is small enough (6 - 7 pounds), I put him in the tub too. One of these days, when we add-on to the house, I want a mud room with on of those big, deep sinks to bath them in. |
Either in my tub where they can't jump out or my parents have one of those huge utility sinks that is really deep that we use specifically for dog washing. It's great....don't have to bend over. Sometimes I think I'd like to have a room just for grooming, but I figure shampoo and water is all the same no matter where it comes from.;) |
Kitchen sink. So easy since there is a spray nozzel. And it doesn't break my back like the tub. |

Kitchen sink |
I use the Kitchen sink and the sprayer on the faucet. I would love to try doing it in the shower with me, but I am afraid it would scare Gracie. |
Kitchen sink for us too! It is just the perfect height, etc. We installed one of those farmers sink type things (like a big utility sink) in our laundry room, but it is all the way downstairs, so we never use if for bath time. (just for soaking clothes and stuff! hee,hee I tried our big tub, but didn't like being bent over or having to kneel so much...so it's the kitchen sink for us. |
kitchen sink |
oscar takes a shower with me most mornings! at first he was a little scared and then he found out how fun it was lol. he loooves it.. he gets so excited when he hears the water! its so much easier for me to keep him clean that way too.. i used to end up all wet and soapy trying to do it at the sink. he even gets a little blow dry to warm him up! lol yes he's spoiled..but hes a working puppy and hes gotta look good :) |
Lady goes in the kitchen sink for her baths, I have the sprayer so its pretty easy for me this way |
I use the Kitchensink also, seems easier on my Back ! |
We use the big sink in the garage. |
Kitchen sink! |
Sometimes the shower with me and mostly the kitchen sink. |
Both of mine mostly shower with me. On occation we do use the kitchen sink, but sticking them in the shower is so easy. I wet one and put shampoo on her, then put her down and get the other, wet and put shampoo on him. Then I pick up the first one and rinse and put conditioner on then put her down and do the same to the other. Then give each a final rinse. |
I have washed both my babies in the sink or the bath tube. It is easier to scrub down the sink afterwards but during the wash its a mess!! |
Kitchen Sink |
With me in the shower. It’s so much easier since I’m already wet. |
i wash mine in the kitchen sink. unless my dtrs. want to take a bath with her and sometimes she takes a bubbly bath with me. hopefully when they finish all the plumbing in my bathroom she will be able to take a shower with me! when we move in a few years i want a utility sink in my mud room so i can just throw all three of them in there at once. i wonder how messy that would be?? :p :D |
Either in the shower or in the spare bath. For quickies in the spare bath, when they look like stray dogs- the shower. I am thinking of devoting that bathroom to the dogs, since they are the only ones who really use it. |
Lennie goes in the shower with my husband every week. He loves it ! |
I remodeled my kitchen right before I got Buddy - I chose an extra deep sink and got a sprayer faucet - BUT what I didn't take into account is that there are more often than not DISHES in the sink. So, in order to make it quick he either showers with me or I give him a bath in the bathtub with the shower sprayer. At some point I SWEAR I will be neat and he will be able to bathe whenever in the sink :p |
I bathe Romeo in the kitchen sink and the bathtub. Bathtub hurts my back a lil, but he is almost to big for the sink! :) |
