Please Pray For Ellie!
 

I know a lot of you have read my thread on my friends baby girl Ellie http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53997

well this evening we had to rush her to the animal hospital, she was pretty much lifeless.
I get a call from Penny and she was crying and I rush right over to her home. She gives me the puppy, she had her all wrapped up in her blanky and I try to get some nutrical in her and some water, but she is not wanting to open her mouth at all, in the mean time penny is trying to call a vet, we finally get a hold of one and we rush her right in.
He said she was extreamly dehyderated and more then likely Hypoglycemic. He is going to start her on an IV and hope and pray she dont have to have a blood transfusion.

Penny and I have became so attach to this little miracle 15 oz baby and I just hope and pray she makes it through the night.

Penny said this morning she was so entergetic, she said she followed her all over the house and Penny got this little stuffed toy out and she went over to it and started barking at it! Now imagine a little beanie baby walking around and trying to play! I bet it was just a sight! And it's bark! I bet it was just so precious to hear her make some noises.
She has to make it, she has to be strong enough and pull out of this!

Please say a little prayer for baby Ellie and Penny, she loves her so much and is doing everything she can to get this baby well.

I missed your other thread, but thanks to you posting the link I went back and read it. Gosh! I don't know what to say. I'm praying her little one will come out of it. They are such little fighters. I could just imagine such a tiny one playing like that. I'll bet that was a darling site to see.

I will be praying for Ellie and you and your friend...I did read the other post just a minute ago and was going to respond and then my computer shut down, when I was looking for it, I found this new one......I think you did the right thing and don't worry about what that stupid woman says, you are help out little puppies that don't have a voice and that woman should be put in jail for cruelty to animals....Hang in there and I will be praying for all of you and Ellie too.....:(

Prayers going out for Ellie from me! Poor baby! I'm so glad she's in good hands! I had missed the first thread, so read that and how sad that those pups are living in such filth! Maddie sends get well kisses to Ellie!

I read and was following the other thread for some time now. I am sooo sorry this is happening, I really hope that awful breeder gets shut down!!:mad: :thumbdown

Poor Ellie, I will be praying for Penny and that Ellie gets better and makes it through this tough time!! She sounds like a real fighter!!

Poor little Ellie.:( To be brought into this world under the conditions her parents were forced to live in is pure cruelty, but thank God for people like Penny who want to save these little babies from that kind of life. My heart aches for her and her baby and I'll be sending prayers for Ellies recovery. Hang in there wee babe, you have a mommy with a heart of gold waiting for you to come home. God bless and watch over you.

OMG poor baby !! I JUST read your other thread and you go girl !!! That poor little yorkie needs someone to speak for her....I just said a prayer and really hope she pulls thru this - coccidia is treatable but what bothered me was reading that EVIL woman is selling dogs that end up with distemper - that is just disgusting and there is NO REASON for that to happen to them - does she know the agony they must have gone thru ? MAN I HATE HEARING ABOUT BREEDERS LIKE THIS !! Keep doing what you can to close her down !!

I wish I could help.....and all the best to you and your friend -and little Ellie. She deserves better than this and your friend sounds like she's doing all she can to give her a good life.

Praying for this poor baby to make a full recovery. Thank Goodness you guys got her out of her situation or she would most certainly be dead.

Ohhhhhh, this broke my heart. But, if there's one thing I can do it is pray...she will be added to my prayer list as well as all her friends and family who clearly love her dearly.

Baby Ellie made it through the night! We never heard anything last night, so thats a great sign, were still waiting to hear back from the vet, we pray she will be able to come home this evening.

Keep praying for Ellie, we want her well and back in her momma arms!

Ellie is Home!!!!
 

Penny just picked up Ellie and there home and she is doing great!
She is going to have to put her back on formula for apx 2 weeks.
The vet saved her life, if penny would not have taken her in that night she more then likely would died.

Oh no - thoughts and prayers coming!!!!! I hope this little girl makes it. I know it takes about a minute to get attached to your baby completely and thoroughly.

You have helped out Penny in every way you could. Just be there for her and let her know we're all thinking of her as well.

I hope your phone calls will help to shut down this breeder.

I'm so glad Ellie is ok - thank God for a quick acting vet. I'll keep praying the Ellie continues to thrive and has no more episodes. I hope that breeder gets shut down and thrown out of town. That is just plain dispicable to treat animals that way and try to profit off them. You go, Ellie girl, show 'em what you're made of!:)

just saw the thread... I'll still be praying for her. Tell you Penny not only did the vet save her life, but she did too by getting her away from that terrible lady. I though my Maddie was small, I couldnt imagine how tiny Ellie must be. I hope she continues to improve!!!
