Anyone Interested In "louis Vuitton?" Anyone else interested in "Louis Vuitton"? I was thrilled to find out that I can call the nearest "Louis Vuitton" Store to order over the phone and pay an extra $10.00 for shipping that I recieved in only 2 days! Unfortunely I ordered the Dog Collar & matching Leash on e-bay, but it turned out to be a cheap replica (not Authentic as advertised!) I learned my lesson......needless to say. I had been shopping on the Internet since we don't have a Store where I live, to my BF's disappointment, I am a true Louis Vuitton addict so it's natural for me to merge that addiction with my main addiction-My Yorkie's! The real thing is Better.......the small size Collar fits perfectly around Abigails neck! The collar is $190.00 and leash is $240.00, but it's well worth it IMO.! That was an expensive lesson, but I have 2 Yorkie's so nothing goes to waste. I don't buy any other "Designer Labels" for them just "Louie" so they will match me.:aimeeyork |
 190.00 and 240.00:eek: LOL No thanks! If I am going to spend that kind of money no offense it wouldn't be for Diesel... I would spend that kind of money on my daughter tho. LOL I love Diesel to death but as little as we use a leash it would be waste of money. He doesn't run and stays right with me. Besides I am happy with buying a cute leash at a pet store. Wow No, thats ok. I don't have that kind of money to spend on Shadow, no offense but I would spend it on my daughter first, lol My son's girlfriend bout a LB purse for hers and in my opinion, it's just as good as the on I have for mine from the pet store. LOL |
That's a really good price for the two. I bought Buttercup the collar and leash when I first got him and the dog carrier as well but I think the carrier is a waste because I never used it. |
Minnie will be wearing a Designer's harness and leash with matching jacket from Chattiesmom. MADE WITH  AND CARE |
I agree, that's a lot of money.. but some of us don't have skin babies and consider our fur babies to be our everything!! A little splurge every now and then is a-okay in my opinion! |
I don't even own any LV products for myself, I'd have a hard time buying them for my furbabies. |
I love designer clothes and shoes and handbags, but I'm not a fan of LV due to all the replica's out there. Even when I buy my coach bags they have to be unique, not the plain signature design. Where I live, everyone and there mama has knockoffs. But that's still awesome how faster shipping is only $10! I would definitly do it! |
My Husband would kill me if I spent $190 on a collar or $240 for a leash |
i would buy them for morgan too if i had the money. i have a couple LV bags. i wouldn't buy the carrier tho, its just too expensive. i have been thinking about the collar tho. |
Definately wouldnt pay that much but thats just me i couldnt spend that on my self id freak! if though id like to sometimes lol! |
I to have a Louis Vuitton obession, LOL! I'm in a 10 step program for it, haha j/k. But seriously I drool over the purses, buy them, wear them for 6 months and throw them in the back of my closet. The only LV items I use on a regular basis is my deauville, and make-up bag, and even then I'm getting bored with them both. It's an exspensive hobby, and a hard one to break since the LV boutique is 15 minutes away from my house:( BUT on a happier note my boyfriend is geting me the small carrier for our anniversary, which means I won't have to buy it, so woo hoo for me and my furbaby! |

Not to mention collars are a big no-no for toy dogs. |

I will keep my opinion about these status products to myself. :p  |

But then you feel cheap and dirty w/ a $20 knockoff! |

I haven't been on since June but when I saw this I just could not believe what yorkie owners will do. I surely would buy the $20 fake and give the rest to charity. When you think of all the starving children and people rehomed from Katrina all that money could be so well spent. Just my opinion. Now I know why I left.:p |
there is nothing wrong with buying something expensive for yourself or someone less, even if it is a dog. if someone wants to spend $1000 on a product for the dog, then so be it. i've spent near it on myself and i love what i bought. |
if i had the $ and hubby wouldn't have a heart attack i would so buy those kinda of things! i love dooney & bourke personally and would like to eventually get my yorkies some nice coach collars or maybe even b.b simon i think it is with the fancy jeweled collars but for now what they have will do just fine. |

Hahahaha, I'm just messin. I'll definitly buy cheap purses if I like them, but just not knock-offs you know. It's just my personal preference, and with nock-offs it doesn't feel the same. I don't get the same attachment to them. I have one Prada nockoff, but my grandma bought me it so it has meaning :) |

I think this thread was to inform anyone that like this brand that they can shop more conviniently now. I never saw her ask would you spend x amount of money on a collar? or do you think I am doing bad buy spending this much on my puppy. Many here nedd to stop judging and directing threads into unnecessary controvertial directions. To the person that started this thread feel great that you found something you like that went above and beyond you expectations. It is your money and feel free to spend it in any way you so desire. I am sure you are not only about Loui Vuitton. I think about the kind person just like any other there may be in you. I am sure every now and then givin the opportunity you also do charitable things. I believe we all do even if we don't anounce it with a trumpet. |
Oh! And for those who brought the monetary angle of this many of us including myself have paid $$$ thousand and change for our yorkies and many other out there think that is insane for just a dog and think of many other ways this money could spent however they don't know like most of us what it is to own a yorkie or any dog for that matter. |
I agree....I'd be the LAST person to spend $$$ on "big name" items, and I personally think it's foolish to do so. But like you say, lots of people think it's foolish to spend as much as we have on these dogs in the first place, and in comparison, 2 or 3 hundred dollars is a drop in the bucket. We all spend our money on what brings US pleasure, whether it is jewelry, traveling, clothes, cars, houses, furniture, entertainment, what have you. I personally think LV stuff is ugly, but some people love it....different strokes for different folks! |
