But then you feel cheap and dirty w/ a $20 knockoff! |

I haven't been on since June but when I saw this I just could not believe what yorkie owners will do. I surely would buy the $20 fake and give the rest to charity. When you think of all the starving children and people rehomed from Katrina all that money could be so well spent. Just my opinion. Now I know why I left.:p |
there is nothing wrong with buying something expensive for yourself or someone less, even if it is a dog. if someone wants to spend $1000 on a product for the dog, then so be it. i've spent near it on myself and i love what i bought. |
if i had the $ and hubby wouldn't have a heart attack i would so buy those kinda of things! i love dooney & bourke personally and would like to eventually get my yorkies some nice coach collars or maybe even b.b simon i think it is with the fancy jeweled collars but for now what they have will do just fine. |

Hahahaha, I'm just messin. I'll definitly buy cheap purses if I like them, but just not knock-offs you know. It's just my personal preference, and with nock-offs it doesn't feel the same. I don't get the same attachment to them. I have one Prada nockoff, but my grandma bought me it so it has meaning :) |

I think this thread was to inform anyone that like this brand that they can shop more conviniently now. I never saw her ask would you spend x amount of money on a collar? or do you think I am doing bad buy spending this much on my puppy. Many here nedd to stop judging and directing threads into unnecessary controvertial directions. To the person that started this thread feel great that you found something you like that went above and beyond you expectations. It is your money and feel free to spend it in any way you so desire. I am sure you are not only about Loui Vuitton. I think about the kind person just like any other there may be in you. I am sure every now and then givin the opportunity you also do charitable things. I believe we all do even if we don't anounce it with a trumpet. |
Oh! And for those who brought the monetary angle of this many of us including myself have paid $$$ thousand and change for our yorkies and many other out there think that is insane for just a dog and think of many other ways this money could spent however they don't know like most of us what it is to own a yorkie or any dog for that matter. |
I agree....I'd be the LAST person to spend $$$ on "big name" items, and I personally think it's foolish to do so. But like you say, lots of people think it's foolish to spend as much as we have on these dogs in the first place, and in comparison, 2 or 3 hundred dollars is a drop in the bucket. We all spend our money on what brings US pleasure, whether it is jewelry, traveling, clothes, cars, houses, furniture, entertainment, what have you. I personally think LV stuff is ugly, but some people love it....different strokes for different folks! |
