Neutering???

My Yorkie is now 13 weeks old and he has not yet been neutered. I am hesitant to have this done because it has dramatically changed the personalities of my other two yorkies. They lost their spunk and energy.

My yorkie is not is a situation where he could mate with other dogs, as his outside life is contained to my fenced in yard. I am also not concerned with him lifting his leg while he urinates.

Is there anything else that I should consider when making this decision?

Well he could start marking in the house. Neutering didnt change my male at all

There are health benefits that come from neutering, like no testicular cancer. Dogs can smell a female in heat for blocks, so they become escape artists and are lost or hit by a car when they run out the door. An unneutered dog is more likely to get into fights with other dogs, and Yorkies don't usually win when they challenge a large dog. An unneutered male is also more likely to mark in the house.
