 Poor Tiah! She looks like her little legs wouldn't even touch the ground - I can see her on her belly, just rocking back and forth, with her legs sticking out to the side. ;) I'm so glad everything went well with her delivery and she and the babies are so healthy. She sure does look happy. |
:D Great Visual!!!!:D :D |

Thanks so much for the pregnant yorkie pics......a lot of people I talked to said that their yorkie didn't get very big at all during pregnancy. My Lily was due on Oct. 24th and still hasn't had her babies.....all she does is sleep and moan!!! She is absolutely huge!! She can no longer get on any furniture by herself or up the front steps......I made her a nesting box....which she loves and stays in, but I had to cut the entrance lower yesterday, because she was having trouble getting in and out of the box! We feel so bad for her, because she seems so uncomfortable all the time now. I haven't left the house since Sunday, because I'm afraid that as soon as I walk out the door, she will go into labor! I will try to post a pic of her so that she will get sympathy from everyone....LOL |

That is a spitten image of my girl Josey ,we had 5 pups lost one.She was full like that also all the way to the ribs. But was not so red on her belly and bag.My little lady went on her due date.I would not let her go to far overdue without talking to my vet.Sometimes labor cannot start with the uterus being so distended.Always go back and check your breeding dates could be off a day or two.Hopefully all goes well for your little lady. |
4 Attachment(s) Here is one of kitty about a week before she was due. (Sorry it's not a great picture of her though.) The last picture is of her with her 5 puppies. |

Yes....I spoke to my vet and she said the same thing about the dates....could be off, so she recommended that if Lily has not had them by Monday, then I should bring her in again. She seems different today though....not eating last night or today....only gets up out of box to tee tee or be held. Her breathing is very shallow and short, but it has been that way for the past week....vet said due to less room. She has not had loose bowel or panting though. Just acting different.... We are hoping that she goes soon....vet is on standby. Thanks for the reassurance that her 'huge size' isn't completely abnormal. |

3 Attachment(s) Here is a couple of Mollie. She had 3. I'm not sure how far along she was here. Sorry, I'm guessing she still had a couple of weeks to go. Good Luck with yours. |

Yup. I've made fun of him several times for laying around like that. She's a daddy's girl. She will not lay on her back for me like that. |
I don't have pics of Tonee pregnant but her belly was huge! She has a small frame so it seemed massive. She did have 5 pups though. We started watching her belly and her teats every week for changes once we knew that they had locked. The last three weeks was when her belly got the largest. Our vet said they could not do the xrays until after 50 days. I gave her plain chicken, eggs, cheese, plain yogurt, and canidae life stages. I wanted her to get extra protein and calcium, I chose not to do the supplements due to the danger of eclampsia. Now that she is nursing I put the new born formula in her food twice a day. I also give her blood cell. There are many things you can do in case she is pregnant. Different breeders have different ideas on what to give them. |
