What should I DO????? Ok guys...Put your thinking caps on....Tiny is 10 months old and he is just now starting to pee in my bed and he actually lies in it...This is the 4th time it has happened...Should I just put him in his cage at night and not let him sleep with me or should I take him to the vet? Is it that serious? I'm not exactly sure what I should do? Please HELP!!!:( |
Also this is at night time when I am sleeping...So I can't actually see if he is awake or he is sleeping and not just getting up at all... |
Oh poor baby. I would think maybe something could be wrong with him if he is actually laying in it. I would take him to the vet to check it out. I hope it's nothing serious. |
he might have a bladder infection... take him to the vet..... |
Agree with everyone...take him to the vet. |
I wonder if he is lying in it because he was sleeping or already lying down when he urinated. If so that I would go to the vet. Although, I would go either way, just to be sure. And it sounds like this is a change and not normal for him. |
get a belly band. |
You know I talked to my breeder and she said....BAD DOG!!!! Don't bother taking him to the vet...She thinks that I have possibly changed something in his daily routine and he is mad at me....She said that nothing is wrong except that he is being a butt....She told me to put him in a cage that he can only sleep in at night just enough room to lay down. I can take him out during the day..But mno more sleeping with Mommy until he learns that he can't pee in the bed when he gets mad at me or bf...She said that just try it for a while and see how he does...I hope this works...It's going to be sooooo hard for me to sleep without my Tiny man!! |
Has he always slept in your bed or is this new? |
Hope you get things resolved soon............good luck! |

I think if he were that mad at you, you would know the reason. I don't think that's the reason he's doing it. JMO |
Could he be marking his territory? Because you and your BF did something on the bed? And Tiny is showing you he's your man? Just a thought:embarasse |

 collapsed treacha because of being neutered? |
Please listin and take him in to the vet. I had a mix that was doing this and it got worse. Not to scare you she ended up haveing k-9 Addisons. there are other signs too. drinking alot shaking scared. but they might not have all of the signs at one time. I would have the vet run the test. it is a scary sickness. I really hope he is okay but better to be safe. |
hmmm i would think that if he was peeing on your bed out of spite then he wouldn't lie in it afterwards. maybe he has a uti. i'd put him in his crate tonight and see what happens. if he still pees himself, then take him to the vet. |

A few months ago, Cali peed on my bed twice and she has never done that. I took a urine sample to the vet and she had a bladder infection. She was put on meds and has never done it again. So I would at least rule that out. |

I would wake him up in the middle of the night and see if it happens again. He might not be able to help it! |
Another suggestion would be to take away the water several hours before bedtime. I've had some success with this. Good luck.:) |
I agree with the lady that said "better safe than sorry"! I would have him checked out by the vet. |
wasnt spite work,, they dont know spite work.... |

Kristi - I hope you are going to take the advice of these other owners and take him to the vet. Dogs do not sleep where they mess. He probably has an infection. |
I know this is a little of subject but how did you know he had a collapsed trachea? What were his symptoms. My little guy is still doing a lot of reverse sneezing since his neuter and he wasn't doing it before the surgery. He also had a round of antibiotics because he was pretty congested. Just wondering if my little guy could have a collapsed trachea. |
We're going through the same thing! Chico is 9 mos old and has been using a doggie door for a month or so. But he peed on our bed twice about a week ago and again just yesterday. AND I came home for lunch, we went out back to go potty and we came back in. Then when I came into the livingroom, there was a wet spot on one of the sofa cushions! He had just peed again! Don't know what is going on! |
